City is an important activity space in people’s real life. With the rapid development ofmodern city, and geographic information system (GIS) with unprecedented speed in everyfield of application. People requirements more and more high on city public information, andunderstands of the city information no longer stay in the original digital map or plan, butrequires a intuitive, reality feel and understand. In digital city, People just tell the systemwhich city they are interested in or they want to know what information in front of thecomputer. The space information they can locate, browse, search, analysis, etc.This thesis takes the Xi’an as example, by using the scale for1:500of the xian urbanfigure and GoogleEarth satellite images as data sources, Based on ArcGIS Enginedevelopment platform, Using C#.net language, I development xian city the public informationmanagement system function. In this thesis, the following work has been done:(1)analysed Xian city public information system analysis of the content and functionrequirement, studied the system structure of the ArcGIS Engine function, etc. Generaldesigned xian city public information query system for the system.(2) analysed the data of Xian city public inquiry system, According to datacharacteristics, design and create a system database.(3) Through the analysis of the data of xian city bus, According to the characteristics,The study was made on Dijkstra algorithm thought, by using the linear dynamic segmentationof reference and technology transfer bus algorithms and their realization.(4) Designed and realized the xian city public information query system,Let usersthrough the user interface for geographic information system and realize the map data in thebasic operations, Geographical target inquires, change to the bus etc the development of Mainfunction.
