The implementation of the new curriculum reform and the demand-oriented of the innovation talent in new period are serious challenge for the cultivate of students at normal universities in Xinjiang. In order to make normal universities of Xinjiang keep pace with the times and breed normal student that adapted to requirement in new period , to investigate the state of research-based learning of the physics education major in normal universities of Xinjiang,in the hope of proposing a pointed strategy and promoting the develop of research-based learning of the physics education major in normal universities of Xinjiang.After adequate preparatory work in initial period,adopted questionnaire and interview approach, teachers and students of the physics education major in normal universities of Xinjiang are investigated.Through the analysis of questionnaires and interviews, the information of the situation carried out about research-based learning , the extent of cognition which teachers and students towards research-based learning, the difficulty in developing research-based learning and the present condition of teaching etc. are obtained. It can be pointed out through an analysis that three factors that constrain the develop of research-based learning: policy, environment of campus, quality of teachers and students themselves, and make a specific analysis on problems that exist in each aspect of the obstructive factors. Problems about the Policy can be found in these facts: the education sector has no relevant policies and the university leaders do not have specifically direct; The problems about the"school environment"can be found in these facts: the irrational Curriculum structure ,the backward type of teaching management, the one-sided evaluation , the limited resources and the backward teaching conditions ; Teachers'and students'own inner qualities reflected in these aspects: the teachers and students have no sufficient understanding about the research-based learning,the conception of the education is old-fashioned,the ways of students learning is single and passive, the teachers, ability about guiding the research-based learning is limited and the students information literacy and scientific literacy are lower.Finally, proposed the strategy for developing research-based learning in the major of physics education in normal universities of Xinjiang , beginning with the factors and the problems exist in it that restrict the development of research-based learning. Measures are divided into three areas: first of all, the hindering factors to carry out research-based learning should be removed. It shows concretely as follows:(1) provide policy support, that is, the education sector make out guiding policies and school leaders, provide specific guidance strategy;(2)to improve the "school environment", that is, to adjust the curriculum, to improve the type of teaching management, to perfect evaluation methods, to expand and update equipment and to improve the construction of teaching resources;(3)to improve the quality of teachers and students in research-based learning, that is, to deepen the extent of teachers and students knowing about research-based learning knowledge,to change teachers'education conception, to change the ways of students learning, to improve the ability that teachers have in guiding research-based learning and to improve teachers, and students'information literacy and scientific literacy. Secondly, programs and channels to carry out research-based learning are proposed . There are two channels: to set up specialized curriculum or to carry out combined with subject.Finally, suggestions are given to guide research-based learning. |
