The Research On STS In Mechanics Teaching For Basic Physics

Teaching reform for basic physics is usually considered as special field problem of physics discipline. Researchers usually studies educating and teaching reform problems from physics discipline, as visual angle of a discipline expert. So they pay much attention to the reformation of its method,means,pattern and content, and comparatively ignore the reformation of education idea. The article studies the basic physics teaching reform in STS education idea, in order to accelerate the discipline of basic physics, enhance human being's natural cognition, promote social progress, and bring up comprehensive development people. This is harmonious development of science, technology, society, just as the concentrated embodiment of STS(science,technology,society)education idea. But STS education as a new comprehensiveness idea infiltrates complicated social value, basing on it's especial background and studying area, make people not enough know it. The article starts off the amalgamation of STS education and basic physics education (mechanics part), and analyses the feasibility and significance that basic physics inosculates STS education, in order to enrich the content of STS inosculating concrete discipline in our country, then deepen understanding STS educational idea.
