| Based on more than 1500 specimens collected in Mt. Tuoliang, comprehensive study is carried on from morphology, anatomy, chemistry and world distribution. 62 species, 4 varieties, 1 subspecies and 1 form are identified, belonging to 26 genera and 12 families. Among them, 4 species are newly recorded from China, Endocarpon nigromarginatum, Lepraria caesioalba, L. eburnean and L. lobificans. 5 genera are first reported for Hebei province, Diploschistes, Endocarpon, Graphis, Leparia and Toninia. 31 species, 1 subspecies and 1 form are new to Hebei province.Referring to the statistics, there are 5 dominant families (≥7species), Physciaceae (5 genera, 14 species), Parmeliaceae (5 genera, 7 species), Collemataceae (2 genera, 8 species), Teloschistaceae (2 genera, 8 species) and Cladoniaceae (1 genus, 10 species). There are 7 dominant genera (≥4 species), Cladonia (10 species), Xanthoria (5 species), Leptogium (5 species), Phaeophyscia (4 species), Xanthoparmelia (4 species), Physcia (4 species) and Peltigera (4 species). This shows that dominant families and dominant genera are obvious, and the result of dominant families and genera are accordant. The lichen flora of Mt. Tuoliang consists of 6 geographical elements and 11 distribution types. The proportion of the Temperate elements is the largest, occupying 38.24%, followed by Boreal (20.59%) and Eastern Asian (14.71%) and Extensive Tropical elements (7.35%). The Element Endemic to China is the rare, about 1.47%. So, it reveals that the North Temperate and Boreal are predominant. The characteristics of Eastern Asian and Transition are notable, and it has some relationship with flora of Tropical and Subtropical. The characteristics of the vertical distribution are found. Under the altitude of 1200m, the number of species is sparse, only 21 species, because of the frequent activity of human being and the destruction of vegetation and so on. The number of species is increasing, owing to adaptation to the environment above 1200m. The species are fertile between 1200m-1800m, including 57 species, 2 varieties, 1 form. The amount of species comparatively reduces to 24 species above 1800m. In a word, the vertical distribution shows normal distribution. The mutual genera and species are compared between Mt. Tuoliang and other 6 regions of China (not including Mt. Tuoliang), Xinjiang, Semi-dry Mt. Region in NeiMonggol, Shennongjia, Tibet and Mt. Wuyi. The conclusion mainly proves that the flora of Mt. Tuoliang has the elements of Temperate, Boreal, Eastern Asian and Tropical et al. The characteristics of Eastern Asian and Transition are notable and this area has some relationship with flora of Tropical and Subtropical. The characteristics of the flora of Mt. Tuoliang are followed: Firstly, it is abundant in species. Secondly, the dominant families and genera are obvious. Thirdly, the distribution types are various and geographical elements are complex. |
