Study On Chemical Characteristics Of Taxonomic Value About The Lichen Genus Lecanora

Lecanora, which is widely distributed in the world, is classified into Lecanoraceae underLecanorales, Lecanoromycetes, Ascomycota, Fungi. It is the largest genus in Lecanoraceae. Fora long time, lichenous chemistry characteristics have becoming an important method forclassification of lichen. The chemical characteristics are important basis for the classification ofLecanora that depends on its various secondary metabolites.The research content of this thesis mainly includes two aspects. The first aspect is theprevious work, more than4000specimens from China, which are deposited in Lichen Section ofBotanical Herbarium, Shandong Normal University (SDNU), have been studied by thetraditional taxonomic methods.68species are identified, of which6species new to science and12species new to China. The second aspect is based on the early study, summarized thechemical characteristics, discovered and described30species with a single chemical type,38species with various chemical types.The lichen Lecanora genus contain various secondary metabolism substances, in this thesis,49secondary metabolites are detected. Three detection methods are used: color reaction test(CT), thin-layer chromatography (TLC) and microcrystal test (MCT).This is the first systematic analyses to the chemical characteristics of the lichen Lecanoragenus from China, and the most species and secondary metabolites are reported. It is confirmedthe important value about the chemical characteristics in Lecanora taxonomy, and providedconvenience for the further research.The localities of the Lecanora specimens cover almost all of China. The study provides aset of high-definition photos about morphology, anatomy, chemistry, and distribution to eachspecies. This is the most comprehensive and widely research on the lichen of Lecanora genusfrom China. It builds up materials for the molecular systematics, and provided the basic data forLichen Virtual Herbarium.
