Polar Information Management System Based On WebGIS

Polar Information Management System is a Internet Management Information System including network program GIS(Geographical Information System) and database. It include not only the management of members program local-activity sum-up registered, but also the query calculation and analysis of the polar spacial geographical data. So, it can be said a typical combine of MIS and WebGIS.At first, this paper discussed the multiplayer frame of J2EE criterion and it's superiority in the appliance of MIS and WebGIS. This paper also discussed the design of module and the realization of corresponding component on the basis of Polar Information System's characteristics. Simultaneously, on the one hand, considering the system's stability security and maintainability, this paper probe deep into the architecture of System, apply the session EJB as a facade in the development of the program and realize the Model-View-Control(MVC) architecture; On the other hand, this paper discussed how to apply the Java coding technique and compile high efficient Database code to enhance the System's flexibility. Corresponding examples are enumerated subsequently. At last, this paper summarily discussed the geographical data management on server in atlas module and how to access geographical information data by using Java Applet to realize the basic operation of atlas, including magnify zoom out move the graphics and query the target object's attribute data.
