The Resources Survey And Population Monitoring Of Amphibian In Hupingshan National Nature Reserve Hunan Province

In near 20 years, the amphibian populations in the world are descended very rapidly, many of them become very paucity that are distributes, and disappeared in some places. More and more ecologists and protecting biologists pay attentions to the problem of the amphibian populations descending, and devoted into the research strategy of the population protected and the species resumption, and put forward some hypothesis about protecting strategy, but these hypothesis are scarce the supports of the long-term monitoring data. Hupingshan Nature Reserve founded in 1982, promote to National Nature Reserve in 1994. During this time ,there is a survey carried out , but because of the money and survey season , the species didn't record totally. So it becomes very important to carry out the survey of the resources and population monitor.Sample-strapping and Visiting are main methods in survey the species of amphibian in the Hupingshan National Nature Reserve. From the survey results, we can draw these conclusions. There are 25 species recorded in the Hupingshan National Nature Reserve, belonging to 2 orders, 8 families. In line with the fauna, these are belongs to Oriental realm( 22 species ). The species of Midst and South are abundance, the species of West-south are permeate to this district, these are the main peculiarity in fauna. Through the comparison with the close reserve show the diversity of the amphibian is very richness, equality is very high, and the structure is very stabilization in Hupingshan National Nature Reserve. The coefficients of diversity is diminishs with the increasing of the altitude disparity, there are most Amphibian species in 800m altitude.
