To Probe Into The Process Of Naturalization Of Modern Physics In China

This dissertation is to probe into the process of naturalization of modem Physics in China from the external history. Chinese science and technology had been the leader of the world Before Ming Dynastry.By Qing Dynastry,however,China withdrew from the stage of science because of its close policy.At the beginning of 1 900抯,on the one hand,classical Physics developed very perfectly;On the other hand,Quantum Mechanics appeared and grew quickly in the west country.However,there was no morden Physics in our country. In 1930抯,modern Physics was in the summit in China. Not only our country achieved a lot of accomplishments which were confirmed by the people of the same occupation,but also Chinese Physicists kept up with the pace of the development of the modem Physics of the world. At the same time,the research organizations in Physics were build up.All those showed that China had finished the process of laying the foundation of the naturalization. In tens of years, from not owning anything in the world to achieving lots of accomplishments,China possessed its own Physics.This phenomenon is worth inquiring into its significance and its importance.If we can find the reason that prompt China to accomplish the naturalization,then it will be very helpfi.tl and instructive for the development of Physics in our country in the future. This dissertation is divided into five parts.In the first part,the preface mainly puts forward three marks of naturalization and analyses what our scholars have been studied recently.In the second part,I briefly introduce the role of the preachers in the process of naturalization.In the third part,I analyse the situation of the development of the modem Physics in China before 1930抯. The fourth part is the principal part.From the physical education,physical talents,the establishment of research organizations and independence of the learning,I discuss that,in 1 930抯,the departments of Physics were established universally,the physical terms were approved and the use of Chinese text books were united and stabilized,the training mechanism of physical education and research type talents matured. Academia Sinica,Peiping Research Institute and Chinese Physical Society were founded one by one .All these symbolized that China finished the establishment of the research organizations.Chinese Physicists achieved much fruit which held a safe lead in the world and made our learning independent gradually.In 1937,there was an Anti-Japanese War ,the war made the development of Chinese Physics weaken.Nonetheness,the modem Physics in China was not defeated and sustained.
