Research On The Data Integrated Management Of Multimedia Electronic Maps

The multimedia electronic maps apply theories and techniques synthetically of cartology, GIS, multimedia and database etc., and organize the data organically, so as to represent geospatial information dynamically and visually by audio-visual information. In order to solve the bottleneck in data management of electronics maps the promotion of status and function of non-spacial data in the geography information representation, the optimization of the audio-visual expression effect, the development of the function and application widely, this paper carried on a great deal of conclusion and analysis of theories and techniques of multimedia electronic maps. While paying attention to development trend and combining with multimedia techniques and database techniques, this paper has done some explorative research in the integrated management of multimedia electronic maps, and put forward some ideas and projects,and done some experiments in practice. The main research results are as follows:Firstly, focusing on the theories research of the electronic maps, this paper has analyzed the concepts, characteristics, function and preparation process traits of multimedia electronic maps, and discussed the basic theories, such as spatial cognition, visualization, sonification and ergonomics.Secondly, this paper has analyzed the data component of multimedia electronic maps and clarified the classification, expression and design of various data. According to the current use of the non-spacial data, the experiments has been done by means of the audio-visual critical parameter of non-spacial data. And then the technical foundation of data integrated management has been established ,while the non-spacial data parameters has been standardized . Furthermore, this part has discussed matching principle of multimedia electronic maps data.Thirdly,this paper has analyzed the characteristics of data and the current situation of management in multimedia electronic maps, concluded the requirement of data management, tidied up data organization model and organization of main factors, and then given examples to set up entity-relation model. Meanwhile it has explained the composition and design project of integrated management, then analyzed the characteristics and application one by one, subsequently put forward the data integrated management of multimedia electronic maps.Fourthly, An integrated management system has been built. And the key parts of this system has been researched deeply. Finally, the application condition of integrated management and the great prospect of its application has been clarified.
