Multimedia Electronic Atlas Based On Logic Design

With the rapid development of multimedia electronic atlas, problems in design field are more and more. This paper uses logical theories to research system structure, data management, functions and interfaces and then brings up design rules and methods to solve the problems of multimedia electronic atlas design. The main ideas of this paper are listed in the following aspects:1. At the beginning of this paper, the current situation is concluded in theoretic level and practice applications. Then, evolutive trends and main problems in multimedia electronic atlas design are researched.2. It introduces the conceptions and characters of electronic map, multimedia technology and multimedia electronic atlas at first. Then, it studies the distinctions between multimedia electronic atlas and electronic map, multimedia teaching software and GIS. At the end of this chapter, it focuses on the research of the theoretical foundation of old design theories and the roles of all kinds of media in multimedia electronic atlas.3. In the following chapter, some design rules are perfected and other new rules are brought up by researching on the logical theories and their practice in multimedia electronic atlas.4. The design methods of multimedia electronic atlas are discussed. New methods under the direction of logical theories and rules are brought up by contrasting and improving usual design methods. At last, how to deal with every kind of data is talked about.5. Based on all researches above, we design and develop the Multimedia Electronic Atlas of Fujian Ecological Environment for example to prove the feasibility of design rules and methods based on the logical theories, and explain how to design a better multimedia electronic atlas. Synchronously, we make a step forward by optimizing the system in order to accelerate the respondent speed of multimedia.
