| The study compares employee satisfaction levels to organizational size, age of employees, and years of tenure with the organization. The analysis utilizes the Job Satisfaction Survey (Spector, 1997) to measure satisfaction levels and compare those results primarily to organizational size, as measured by employee count and revenue. The study also correlates satisfaction levels of employees at small versus large organization sizes as defined by several sources, to age groups and years with firm. Theories of employee satisfaction, organizational lifecycles, and existing studies comparing employee satisfaction with organizational size are also presented. |
