Research On Impact Evaluation Of Open Access Academic Paper

As an important part of open access to scientific and technological information,open access paper has played an important role in building a direct relationship to knowledge dissemination and sharing,promoting academic exchange.How to measure its role in academic communication is becoming an internal cause of influence for evaluating academic open access paper.In the era of knowledge explosion,the number of academic papers increase rapidly,how to improve the impact of the academic publications rapidly becomes the main concern of scholars.Open access plays an important role in enhance influence for scholars,institution,nations or regions.The evaluation of open access publications is beneficial to learn about the value and potential development of academic open access papers,which are also important content to evaluate the academic ability and scientific research status.The impact of paper not only reflects the quality and value,but also reflects the scientific activities or scholars' scientific research level,academic ability,recognition and attention of scholars.With the development of internet technology,great changes have taken in the mode of academic exchange,which enriches the way of open access papers.According to the different ways of academic communication,the impact of academic open access paper not only includes web1.0 impact,but also includes the web2.0 impact,those two types of impacts which reflect the comprehensive impact of open access academic paper.This paper makes comprehensive study on the impact of open access academic paper from the aspect of quality,value and attention of open access academic papers.The paper is divided into five chapters except introduction and conclusion,those five chapters main research contents are as follows:In the second chapter,the relevant basic theory about the open access academic paper is sorted out.Firstly,the relevant concepts are defined,and the research objects and scope of research are clarified.Secondly,the characteristics of open access academic paper and related theories in the research process are elaborated.Finally,the theories and methods of impact evaluation are sorted out,including the theories and methods of evaluation,the principles of scientific evaluation,evaluation methods of open access academic papers,and evaluation index of impact evaluation.In the third chapter,the impact of the open access academic paper is analyzed,and the impact evaluation system of the open access academic paper is constructed.First of all,the connotation of influence and the types of impact factors for open access academic papers are analyzed;secondly,the impact factors of open access academic papers are analyzed,which includes the primary impact factors of open academic access papers,the secondary impact factors of open access academic papers and the relationship between them;In the end of this part,the paper construes an impact evaluation system of open access academic paper based on the original influence factors and secondary influencing factors.The fourth chapter analyzes the academic influence of open access in web1.0 eras.Firstly,open access academic papers are analyzed which includes the country or region,funding support and the distribution of reference literature.Secondly,the paper analyzes the academic impact based on the citation frequency,including the research institutions,the citation publications,the funding support,the length of the paper,and the influence of peer review on the cited frequency.Then,the paper analyzes the academic influence of the open access paper of ESI index,including the research on the influence of high citation and hot papers.Finally,the influence of academic papers of open access in web1.0 era is analyzed.In the fifth chapter,the influence of academic papers of open access in web2.0 eras is analyzed.The paper analyzes the academic influence of using data index of open access academic papers and the influence of Altmetrics.The influence of the open access academic papers for data used which mainly includes the advantages of open access academic paper in the use of data respectively,to study the influence of the use of open access academic paper,founding of open access paper,paper length,the influence of reference to analyze the influence of open access academic papers,and to put forward the impact of open access academic paper.The paper analyzes the influence of open access academic paper by Altmetrics indicators,which includes open access paper Attention,Altmetric index and cited frequency,the relevance of the open access paper and the impact of Altmetric Attention Score.Finally,according to the index of using times and Altmetrics index of open access academic paper,the impact evaluation model of open access academic paper is constructed in web2.0.In the sixth chapter,the comprehensive impact of open access academic paper is evaluated.First of all,building a comprehensive evaluation model based on web 1.0 impact and web 2.0 impact to calculate influence score of open access academic paper and taking the PloS ONE as an example.Secondly,we found there were correlation strongly between paper influence score and the cited frequency index.We find that the impact of open access academic paper published by China has been significantly improved on international scope byanalyzing the impact of open access academic paper in different countries or regions,institutions.Finally,the paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the impact of open access paper.
