Any form of culture has its life cycle and its peak,as well as its inflection point.The year of 2014 is acknowledged as the turning point of traditional television.Double decline of ratings and advertising revenue covers the development of television with a layer of gray haze.Traditional TV is faced with the opportunities and challenges from the Internet,so it's in the coldest day of winter,which needs phoenix nirvana;Emerging TV is represented by the Internet TV,facing an uncertain future.In such situation,we need to reflect the TV industry.Based on this,this research redefines TV with the integrated use of semantic definition method,differentia definition method and contextual definition method.On the background of the Internet,TV contains three meanings:TV uses the principle of persistence of vision;Television uses electronic technology and equipment to the end of the mass media of images,audio,and transmission media.TV can help users to create public domain open platform,building cultural BBS,providing users with another window to observe and experience the world.In order to deepen the understanding of television further,this research briefly reviews the development of television in last one hundred years,and then makes a classification of TV.The article explains the Internet TV,IPTV,OTT TV and other new types.We can figure out the three significant characters of TV through looking through many types of television,they are linear and nonlinear coexistence,centralization and fragmentation,control and interaction exist at the same time.In order to further extent the theory,we explain that under the background of Internet,TV needs expanding four functions including that strengthening its mainstream ideology;in the evolution of human-computer interaction technology,exploring the development path of smart TV;in the multi-culture,enhancing the media literacy of audience and media in itself;observing the evolution laws of TV civilization,while the media is at the peak of the Game.In the TV reality world,we found that the current television development is faced with five prominent contradictions and challenges:the contradiction between control mode and reveal the user subjectivity,the contradiction between high production costs and ratings decline,the contradiction of homogenized competition and the healthy development,the contradiction between entertainment trends and the spirit character,the contradiction between private interest and the social public welfare.Meanwhile TV faces a rare development opportunity,which means that macroeconomic policy,market demand and technical support Facing the opportunity and challenge,TV industry will unswervingly following the path of integration development.TV fusion is short of funds,lacking of technology,talents and policy,which are common problems The conditions of enterprises face a series of problems,such as idea imbalances,path dependence,path selection,asymmetric breakthrough,the overall coordinated operation spare media resources unclear responsibilities,unscientific appraisal indicators and so on.Based on the theoretic analysis,this paper uses empirical analysis method to comb the value and significance of?Where Dad went to?and then by fusion program level up to the development of Hunan radio and television media ecosystem construction.Under the background of rapid development of new media,integrated wings,and twin engine development strategy of Hunan satellite TV + Mango TV,is the integration of radio and television development paradigm.In the process of network integration and interaction,to achieve technological upgrading and sharing of large data networks,while exploring the state-owned media companies in the flow of talent,mechanism innovation,docking capital and other aspects of innovation.For the current domestic traditional media,there is no doubt that the significance of Hunan radio and television is exploring the transformation of the road.For now,the effect is obvious,as a result of the depth of development,but also need time to verify.If the convergence development can be regarded as the practical sense of TV,then multi-dimensional evolution of TV can be understood as the pure sense of it.Science and technology,rational,democracy and the rule of law can promote TV evolution.Technology evolution is the basic premise of TV development.Rational evolution is the soul of TV development.The development of democratic is the solid foundation of TV broadcasting,while law is the guarantee of TV communication.Only through multi-dimension evolution,TV can be the mainstream media which carry forward the main theme and spread the positive energy,thus providing a platform for the development of human life.
