| ObjectiveData mining was conducted on the herb information of stroke sequelae in recent 10 years to summarize the application rules of herbs.On this basis,the commonly used herbs for stroke sequelae were screened out,and the health maintenance of TCM for stroke sequelae in lingnan area was preliminarily developed.In addition,in the process of data mining,I try to improve the interpretation method of association rule results so as to improve the quality and efficiency of data mining.Methods(1)Through literature research,the research progress in application of data mining technology in stroke sequelae and the research progress in prevention and treatment of stroke by TCM are systematically reviewed,which lays a foundation for this study.(2)Collect more than 20000 cases of medical record in recent 10 years from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of TCM,which were diagnosed with "stroke".While 8052 of these cases were stroke sequela.In the end,7707 cases of medical records that met the inclusion criteria were screened out.After screening,cleaning and preprocessing of medical record data,3,976 pieces of standardized TCM prescription data were sorted out.Frequency statistics,factor analysis,clustering analysis and association rule analysis were used to conduct overall and hierarchical statistical analysis and data mining of TCM data,so as to summarize the application rules of herbs in the treatment of stroke sequelae.In the study of association rules,a new index named "Fit" was used to interpret the results of association rules.(3)On the basis of data mining and in accordance with the standards issued by the national health authorities,the herbs commonly used for stroke sequelae were screened out,and the health maintenance of TCM for the stroke sequelae in lingnan area was preliminarily developed.Results(1)Through the statistical analysis of the The general information of 7707 cases of stroke sequelae medical record,it was found that 4775 cases were male and 2932 cases were female.The distribution of admission time in four seasons was relatively average,with 4211 patients admitted in summer and autumn and 3496 in winter and spring.76.88%of patients were admitted in acupuncture and rehabilitation department,10.31%in encephalopathy centers,while 12.81%in other departments.In terms of major diagnosis,5416 cases were diagnosed as ischemic stroke sequelae and 2249 cases as hemorrhagic stroke sequelae.In terms of syndrome types of TCM,there were 4408 cases of qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,2305 cases of wind-phlegm and blood stasis syndrome,641 cases of Wind formation from yin deficiency syndrome,77 cases of phlegm-heat entrapment and wind-phlegm up-disturbance syndrome,65 cases of wind-fire up-disturbance syndrome with excessive liver Yang,30 cases of phlegm-dampness obstructing the mind,18 cases of phlegm-heat entrapment and qingqiao syndrome,and 158 cases of other syndromes.(2)A total of 3,976 prescriptions of herbs were included.Through statistical analysis of herb data,it was found that 374 kinds of herbs were involved,with a cumulative frequency of 43,017 times.There were 29 kinds of high-frequency herbs for stroke sequelae(frequency>10%),and 9 common factors were selected by factor analysis,including 25 kinds of core herbs,which were clustered into 6 categories by cluster analysis.301 rules with support degree?0.10 were obtained by association rule analysis,and a support-fit scatter plot(hereinafter referred to as SF scatter plot)was drawn.(3)Stratified study was conducted according to syndrome types of TCM:?Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome:there are 20 kinds of high-frequency herbs(frequency>10%).7 common factors were selected through factor analysis,including 18 kinds of core herbs,which were clustered into 5 categories by cluster analysis.According to association rule analysis,360 rules with support degree?0.10 were obtained,and SF scatter plot was drawn.?wind-phlegm and blood stasis syndrome:there are 28 kinds of high-frequency herbs(frequency>10%).10 common factors were selected through factor analysis,including 25 kinds of core herbs,which were clustered into 6 categories by cluster analysis.363 rules with support degree ?0.10 were obtained by association rule analysis,and SF scatter plot was drawn.?Wind formation from yin deficiency syndrome:There are 32 kinds of high frequency herbs(frequency>10%).8 common factors were selected through factor analysis,including 27 kinds of core herbs,which were grouped into 4 categories by cluster analysis.Through association rule analysis,488 rules with support degree?0.05 and fit degree?0.30 were obtained,and SF scatter plot was drawn.(4)By screening the herbs for regimen,15 kinds of high frequency herbs for regimen of qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,23 kinds of high frequency herbs for regimen of wind-phlegm and blood stasis syndrome,and 28 kinds of high frequency herbs for regimen of Wind formation from yin deficiency syndrome were obtained.(5)On the basis of the above research results,a regimen of herbs for the stroke sequelae suitable for lingnan area was preliminarily developed,and prescriptions of herbs,regimen prescriptions of herbs and dietary therapy for different syndromes were preliminarily developed.Conclusion(1)Through literature research,it is found that in the study of traditional Chinese medicine,acupoint selection,regimen diet,preventive medicine and other aspects,retrospective study was mainly adopted.While in the study of syndrome of TCM,prospective study was mainly adopted.Mainstream data mining techniques include frequency analysis,factor analysis,logistic regression analysis,clustering analysis,association rule analysis,etc.Some researchers also adopted other methods like artificial neural networks,decision trees,hidden markov models,etc.The most commonly used data mining software is"TCM inheritance assistance system",followed by SPSS modeler","Microsoft Excel","Microsoft SQL server","R language",etc.Some researchers also use self-developed data mining tools.(2)Through the statistical analysis of the general information of 7707 cases of medical records,the general rules of stroke sequelae were preliminarily summarized.The incidence of stroke sequelae was higher in males than in females.More patients were admitted in summer and autumn than in winter and spring.The admission department was dominated by acupuncture and rehabilitation department,followed by encephalopathy center.The sequelae of ischemic stroke are more than hemorrhagic.The main syndromes of TCM are qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,wind-phlegm and blood stasis syndrome,and Wind formation from yin deficiency syndrome.With age,the proportion of wind-phlegm and blood stasis syndrome decreases,the proportion of qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome is basically unchanged,while the proportion of wind formation from yin deficiency syndrome increases,indicating the change of disease syndrome from solid to deficiency.And each syndrome doesn't change much with the seasons.(3)Through data mining of 3,976 prescription of herbs,the application rules of herbs in stroke sequelae were preliminarily summarized.In the treatment of stroke sequelae,the most critical three herbs are Poria cocos,Pinellia ternata and dried tangerine.And according to stratified study of syndromes of TCM,here are the 3 findings:? Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome:The most critical three herbs are Astragalus membranaceus,Angelica sinensis and Ligusticum wallichii.The most commonly used herb combinations are radix paeoniae rubra,semen persicae,flos carthami,Astragalus membranaceus,Angelica sinensis,Ligusticum wallichii and earthworm,while Poria cocos and radix fici hirtae are frequently added on this foundation,while guizhifuling pill,erchen decoction and sijunzi decoction are also commonly used.The treatment of stroke sequelae with qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome is mainly to invigorate qi and promote blood circulation,while the clearing of collaterals,resolving phlegm and strengthening spleen are also important.?wind-phlegm and blood stasis syndrome:The most critical three herbs is dried tangerine,Pinellia ternata,Poria cocos.The most commonly used herb combinations are Pinellia ternata,dried tangerine,Poria cocos,caulis bambusae in taeniam,fructus aurantii immaturus,atractylodes macrocephala koidz,radix glycyrrhizae,while gastrodin,ginger,jujube and acorus tatarinowii are frequently added on this foundation,while banxia baizhu tianma decoction,buyang huanwu decoction are also commonly uesed.The treatment of stroke sequelae with wind-phlegm and blood stasis syndrome mainly includes dampness and phlegm dissipation,while the Invigorating of spleen,activating qi and activating blood circulation are also important.?wind formation from yin deficiency syndrome:The most critical three herbs are cornus officinalis,yam and Pori a cocos.The most commonly used herb combinations are cornus officinalis,yam,Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata,paeonia suffruticosa,Poria cocos,rhizoma alismatis,while liver-wind suppressing decoction is also commonly used.The treatment of stroke sequelae with wind formation from yin deficiency syndrome is mainly to nourish Yin,while it is also important to calm the nerves and relieve dizziness.(4)Through screening the herbs for regimen,37 herbs in common use were found,among which 13 were herbs with the same origin of medicine and food.The most relevant combinations were "Astragalus membranaceus,Angelica sinensis and Ligusticum wallichii","Poria cocos,dried tangerine and Pinellia ternata" and "Poria cocos,cornus officinalis and yam".Three prescriptions for health preservation agreements were drawn up,and the health maintenance of TCM was developed in three stages.This is an exploration of the transformation of data mining results and lays a foundation for the future empirical research in clinical practice and the development of TCM regimen products.(5)In TCM association rules analysis,a new index "Fit" is adopted(Fit=Support 1×Lift),and draw the "Support-Fit scatter plot",so as to realize the visualization of result analysis for the herb association rules.It provides a basis for the practicability and scientific nature of herb prescriptions in modern cl inical application,and provides a new idea for the application of association rule technology in the field of TCM in the future. |
