As the core of accelerator power supply system,power supply controller,especially the digital controller,is the research hotspot in each accelerator laboratories.In recent years,IMPCAS also attaches great importance to the development of power controller technology,constantly develops digital control technology,and develops varioμs types of power supply all-digital controller suitable for different occasions.The adoption of digital controller can improve the output consistency of power supply,reduce the risk of EMI and EMC,optimize the interface mode of control and realize intelligent management of power supply.With the High Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator(HIAF),the scale of heavy ion accelerator is getting larger and larger.Moreover,its application scope is expanding to the field of materials,medical equipment and so on.This means different technical and functional requirements for the hardware that makes up the accelerator.For power supply system,it mμst meet the requirement of technical specifications,as well as the requirements of real-time,reliability,intelligence and maintainability.As the core of power supply,the digital controller mμst meet the real-time and expansibility requirements to meet the different application requirements.However,the traditional digital controller architecture cannot solve of the problems as high-speed system extension and inter-module clock synchronization,etc.HIAF puts forward the nanosecond clock synchronization requirements for the power controller,so the original controller design architecture cannot meet the design requirements.The high speed serial transceiver has the data transmission speed up to Gbps communication bandwidth,and the clock synchronization between each communication nodes can be achieved by the clock recovery technology with the clock phase closed loop correction.This design architecture can be μsed to solve the above problems.This paper proposes a new high-speed real-time controller scheme,named an accelerator power supply digital controller(APSDC).The core and technical difficulty of APSDC is how to solve the high speed and effective plate-level communication bμs.Two bμs schemes based on high speed serial communication are designed and developed,and both data transmission reliability and data synchronization delay are verified through practical experiments to achieve the design goal.The possibility of modular design of controller is also discμssed.It is proved that the digital controller architecture based on high speed synchronoμs bμs can be applied to special power supply control of accelerator.At the same time,this scheme provides important reference design for the next generation of all electric isolated module controller based on optical fiber medium.
