Research On Architectural Design Methods Based On The Concept Of Cultural Ecology

Buildings are one of the material carriers of human culture,because they are the product of human civilization and mark the development of human civilization.In the field of architecture,the inheritance and expression of regional culture is a classic topic after the modern architectural movement.On the basis of interdisciplinary studies,it forms contextualism,architectural semiotics,architectural typology,critical regionalism,etc.theory.However,urban architecture shows cultural ecological imbalance,improper cultural expression,and insufficient research on cultural expression methods in the contemporary urbanization process in China.Furthermore,the inheritance and expression of urban and architectural culture has once again become a research hotspot in the field of architecture,in the context of the national strategy of“cultural renewal”and“ecological civilization”in the new era of China.Ecology is the science that studies the relationship between biology and the environment.Cultural ecology is a sub-discipline that studies the relationship between human culture and the environment,Based on the ecological"worldview"and"methodology"thinking.This paper cuts into and applies the relevant theoretical methods of ecology from the perspective of cultural ecology,and studies the classical topic of cultural expression in architectural design,which is inspired by the logic of cultural ecology research.In view of the cultural and ecological imbalance of urban architecture,this paper applies the relevant principles and concepts of ecology to the study of architectural culture,based on the theory and research thinking of ecology,cultural ecology and architectural culture.Furthermore,the ecological expression method of culture in architectural design is deduced,which distinguishes it from the traditional and current architectural culture expression method research mode,in order to achieve the innovation of design method and theory.The main body of the thesis is divided into three parts:dialectical conversion,pattern extraction and method deduction.The first part(Chapter 1 to Chapter 3)conducts a literature review,the feasibility and solution of dialectical research,and analyzes the ecological elements and expression paths of architectural culture.The second part(Chapter 4)analyzes architecture.The cultural ecological adaptation model and method of the case;the third part(Chapters 5 and 6)proposes the ecological inheritance strategy of architectural culture and deduces the ecological expression method of architectural culture.The paper formed the following three innovations.First,Analyze the ecological elements of architectural culture based on the theory of cultural ecology(see Chapter 3 for details).In this paper,the traditional architectural culture and its expression methods are studied.The architectural theory research based on typology,semiotics and cultural methods is based on the unique perspective of cultural and ecological concepts,using cultural ecology theory and related theoretical methods in ecology.The principles and concepts in ecology are used to analyze the relevant elements of architectural culture,and then converted into architectural cultural ecological factors,architectural cultural niches,architectural cultural constraints,architectural cultural ecological,architectural cultural ecological genes,architectural culture.On the basis of ecological evolution and other cultural and ecological factors,the ecological expression path of architectural culture is constructed to establish a theoretical basis for further research on architectural design methods.Second,deduct the systematic design method of ecological expression of architectural culture,and categorize the nine architectural design methods of cultural prototypes(see Chapter 6 for details).Firstly,based on the above-mentioned ecological elements of architectural culture,expression path construction,and ecological model analysis conclusions,the ecological expression stylized design method of architectural culture is deduced,and a four-step ecological design method of cultural analysis,selection,extraction and expression is formed.Namely:analysis of the cultural niche of architectural culture,analysis of the limiting factors of architectural culture,extraction of cultural ecological prototypes,ecological evolution and transformation of cultural prototypes.Secondly,transforming the different evolutionary modes of living organisms into environmental changes into the processing methods of cultural prototypes in architectural design,and analyzing the classification of"dominant"cultural prototypes(ie:formal prototypes,material prototypes,spatial prototypes)Six architectural design methods:simple evolution,complex evolution,convergence evolution,divergent evolution,mosaic evolution,and special evolution;for"hidden"cultural prototypes(ie:conceptual prototypes,historical prototypes),parsing and classifying entities three architectural design techniques:spatialization,abstraction,and abstraction.Third,analyze the architectural culture and ecological adaptation model,based on the cultural "ecological type" case,and form a case library(see Chapter 4,Appendix 1 for details).Based oin the analysis of the ecological elements of the previous architectural culture,70 cultural "ecological" architectural cases were screened out,and the specific adaptation factors and adaptation methods of each case were analyzed,and the classifications were sorted out to summarize the three major categories and nine small types of architectural culture.Ecological adaptation model.Further,according to the ecological expression method of airchitectural culture in Chapter 6,the four steps of architectural cultural niche,ar-chitectural cultural restriction factor,cultural ecological prototype and ecological expression are analyzed in detail,and the cultural "ecological" architectural case is analyzed in detail.The process of cultural ecological generation and the formation of the case analysis library in Appendix 1.This thesis provides a systematic and stylized concept and method for the cultural expression of contemporary architectural design from the perspective of cultural and ecological concepts.On the conceptual level,the concept of cultural ecology is emphasized;on the method level,the first is the four-step ecological design method of cultural analysis,selection,extraction and expression of architecture;the second is the nine construction methods for different cultural prototypes.Therefore,this paper has theoretical innovation and practical application significance in architectural design practice.
