Spatial Research Of Institutional Elderly Facilities Based On Post Occupancy Evaluation

The aging of population in our country is becoming more and more serious,and the old-age care has become the focus of attention of the whole society.Institutional elderly facilities bear the core role of material carriers in China’s pension service system,and the status is very important.However,at present,there is lack of humanistic care in the space of institutional elderly facilities in China,and the lack of effective space design theory and method guidance.In view of this problem,follows the positivism research paradigm and bases on the dynamic vertical spatial cognition perspective of the elderly,this paper establishes a Post Occupancy Evaluation(POE)system for the space use of institutional elderly facilities,which has a complete structure,a rigorous logic and an internal test of the main evaluation conclusions.And,this paper carries out a thorough investigation on Qingdao’s institutional elderly facilities facilities environment,the elderly using subjective attitude and the objective condition,and uses various research methods of quantitative and qualitative to analyzes the mass first-hand data.Then,this paper concludes the main problem and causes on the design level and non design level of institutional elderly facilities space,and proposes some answer strategies for the improving of China’s institutional elderly facilities space.This paper is divided into nine chapters.Introduction chapter reviewed the research necessity,research status,research purpose and significance,research methods and technical route,research structure;In the first chapter,the author finds the theoretical support and method of finding and solving the problem of institutional elderly facilities space by combing the knowledge of POE and architectural pattern language;The second chapter analyzes the overall situation of Qingdao’s institutional elderly facilities domain organization from three aspects of type and quantity,layout,and put forward the elements of the POE system contains basic-level factors,first-level factors,and second-level factors,effective implementation for the use of POE lay a good foundation;The third to six chapters evaluates and analyzes in depth on the space style status,satisfaction,importance,status,main conclusions of each chapter through the "contrast&confirm" mechanism that can be tested together to explore core problems in elderly institutions in space systems;The seventh chapter is the conclusion of the preceding POE summary,from two aspects of non design and design summed up the core problems exist in the institutional elderly facilities space system,and its main causes are analyzed:the core problem of non design level is the base of the material level of institutional elderly facilities is backward,the reason lies in that the economic situation of institutional elderly facilities the core problem;design level,environmental facility space separation and practical efficiency is low,the main reasons,management mode of resource allocation of space light service,static transverse space design perspective based on function division,and the space design method is not mature;Finally,the eighth chapter based on the comprehensive conclusion of the POE of institutional elderly facilities,puts forward two suggestions on strengthening the implementation of the relevant policy support,and establishing the spatial pattern language of institutional elderly facilities.
