With the emergence of different needs for elderly care services, the matching relationship between the types of community elderly care facilities and the service objects with different elderly care needs and physical self-care levels is gradually becoming clearer in the current period of rapid aging of the population.Functional comprehensive service community elderly care facilities are one of the main places where the elderly in the community can choose to carry out their daily activities. For the elderly who use the building space of community elderly care facilities, their activities and resting behaviors occur dynamically within the facility and in the surrounding community environment. For the elderly, the community elderly care facility space is not an independent place but a part of the space system of daily elderly living behaviors. The existing comprehensive service community elderly care facilities have the disadvantages of limited scale, low efficiency of some space use,and separation from the community space environment, which reflects the problem that the architectural planning or renovation design does not match the actual use.Post-use evaluation is a scientific feedback mechanism that can comprehensively feedback all aspects of the built environment of elderly care facilities in the community environment, which has a significant meaning for the problem of the disconnect between the design of community elderly care facilities and the actual use of the elderly and the improvement of the quality of the built environment of the elderly care spaces in community elderly care facilities.Firstly, this study expounds on the relevant theories of post-use evaluation of elderly care facilities.Secondly, the overall status of the comprehensive service community elderly care facilities in Changsha is sorted out through the collection of relevant materials and field research, whose building types and general space use problems are then analyzed.Thirdly, the subject and object of the post-use evaluation and the research hypothesis are determined based on the above research. Then, the evaluation index set of the elderly care space environment of the comprehensive service community elderly care facilities is formulated by the method of literature research and Delphi analysis, and the analytic hierarchy process is used to calculate the weights of the evaluation indicators at all levels.Afterward, declarative evaluation and satisfaction evaluation are carried out on representative elderly care facilities in Changsha comprehensive service community and their elderly care spaces, and quantitative analysis is carried out on the scale data to obtain the relationship between elderly satisfaction and various indicators of elderly care space. Finally, based on the post-use evaluation results,it proposes six optimization strategies in terms of space performance, sanitation, accessibility, appliances and equipment, efficiency and practicality, and appearance style, which are hoped to have a positive guiding significance for the construction of community elderly care facilities in Changsha.
