The Clinical Study On Treatment Of Frozen Shoulder By The Therapy Of Massage Combined With Warm Needle-moxibustion At The 3-shoulder Points

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effects of treating frozen shoulder by the therapy of Massage combined with Warm Needle-Moxibustion at the 3-shoulder points,meanwhile to compare the clinical effects of the therapy of Massage combined with Warm Needle-Moxibustion and only Warm Needle-Moxibustion at the 3-shoulder points.Try to find a most effective,economic and safe way to treat frozen shoulder,help patients to relieve pain,elevate the life quality.The effective method can light the side effect of medical.Methods60 Patients of frozen shoulder were assigned to treatment group(Massage combined with Warm Needle-Moxibustion at the 3-shoulder points group)and the control group(Warm Needle-Moxibustion at the 3-shoulder points group)according to the principle of simple random.Through 2weeks treat,we evaluate the the curative effect through the visual analogue scale(VAS),Constant-Murley shoulder assessment,and analyze the difference between the two groups.Results(1)The therapy of Massage combined with Warm Needle-Moxibustion and only Warm Needle-Moxibustion at the 3-shoulder points all have good curative effect.The total effective rate is:the treatment group is 96.7%,the control group is 86.7%.According to the chi-square test,result show statistically significant difference(P<0.05),which means that the therapy of Massage combined with Warm Needle-Moxibustion at the 3-shoulder points has the best effect.(2)Diversification in VAS:Compared with scores before the treatment,there were significant difference in VAS in two groups(P<0.05).Compared between the two groups,after 2weeks therapies,there were significant difference in VAS(P<0.05).Indicated to the therapy of Massage combined with Warm Needle-Moxibustion makes far more efficient relieve patients pain than the anther way.(3)Diversification in Constant-Murley:Compared with scores before the treatment,there were significant difference in Cons tan t-Mur ley in two groups(P<0.05).Compared between the two groups,after 2weeks therapies,there were significant difference in Constant-Murley(P<0.05).Indicated to the therapy of Massage combined with Warm Needle-Moxibustion makes far more efficient improve patients shoulder functions than the anther way.Results(1)The two methods of Massage combined with Warm Needle-Moxibustion at the 3-shoulder points and Warm Needle-Moxibustion at the 3-shoulder points are effective in treating frozen shoulder.Both of them can relieve pain,improve shoulder functions and elevate the life quality of patients.(2)The curative effect of the two methods has significant difference between them,that is to say,the method of Massage combined with Warm Needle-Moxibustion at the 3-shoulder points is more than only Warm Needle-Moxibustion at the 3-shoulder points.
