Objective:By applying randomized-control study ways, via warm acupuncture group as a control group; through clinical observation of joint three acupoints combining warm acupuncture to treat on frozen shoulder syndrome in order to explore on its effectiveness and superiority. Methods:Cases sourced from the treatment of acupuncture and massage therapy on frozen shoulder patients of Guangdong Second Traditonal Chinese Medcine Hospital and Huangpi Hospital of Guangzhou effective from June 2013 to December 2014 with a total of 60 cases; according to 1:1 ratio simply randomized it into Control Group with 30 cases for each group. Observation group joint three acupoints of shoulder combining warm acupuncture treatment. Whereas, Control Group apply warm acupuncture treatment. All the patients shall be treated once every day,5 times as a course of treatment; then evaluate the efficacy of the course. It apply visual analogue scale to range pain;activities of daily living (ADL), range of motion (ROM) and muscles. All data are statistically analyzed by using SPSS19.0 software. The measurement data is stated with the tudent’s t test, x2 test and Ridit analysis. Results:The evaluation on the two group (Observation Group, Control Group) via VAS and ADL before treatment, gender, age and course of disease had not shown significant difference (P>0.05), its baseline is identical and it is comparable. After treatment, Out of 30 cases from the Observation Group 19 marked cured, 10 marked distinct effective,1 marked not effective, total efficiency marked at 96.7%; Out of 30 cases from Control Group 11 marked healed,13 marked distinctly effective,6 marked not effective, total efficiency marked at 73.0%; The evaluation on the two groups frozen shoulder patients via Ridit analysis analysis showed significant differences (P<0.05). Pain:Via statistical analysis after treatment, two groups scores showed significant improvement. Observation Group and Control Group in compare to before treatment is most significant, P<0.05. Activities of daily living (ADL):Via statistical analysis after treatment, two groups scores showed significant improvement. Observation Group and Control Group in compare to before treatment is most significant, P<0.05.Conclusion:The results suggest that:Joint three acupoints combining warm acupuncture and warm acupuncturing have definite effect on treatment of frozen shoulder, however, the overall effect of joint three acupoints combining warm acupuncture was superior to warm acupuncturing; For pain, joint three acupoints combining warm acupuncture and warm acupuncturing was significantly effective, Observation Group was superior to Control Group; For activities of daily living (ADL), joint three acupoints combining warm acupuncture and warm acupuncturing was significantly effective, Observation Group was superior to Control Group.
