Frozen shoulder is common around about 50 years old, also known as is a common disease in the elderly. It belongs to medicine "shoulder weakness" with shoulder pain and movement disorder as the main symptoms. Some people do not seek medical attention in that moment. Then the patients cannot even sleep. After several months later, pain may be gradually decreased, but the situation is worsening. Patients can be difficult to lift arm, leading to affect lives. When the arm move, it is painful uncomfortable. When shoulders stiff stems up to certain to extent, the magnitude of arm activity has not changed significantly, it will stabilize. But much medical research indicates that many patients in the years after shoulder joint function may still have different degrees of lesions. It brings the suffering of patients affected their daily life and work. Three problems of frozen shoulder exist in Hong Kong:(1) there is no clear clinical effect on Hong Kong’s frozen specification; (2) Hong Kong without any epidemiological survey of frozen shoulder; and (3) Hong Kong massage, acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, the lack of detailed, objective and scientific observation.ObjectiveThe first time is carried out a comparative study in Hong Kong Eastern district. TCM treatment of frozen shoulder in Hong Kong only based on traditional Chinese medicine theory. No epidemiological and clinical data of frozen shoulder found in Hong Kong. New idea is carried to find out in favor of Hong Kong frozen shoulder preventive methods. Hong Kong is looking for reliable treatments of frozen shoulder. I hope for patients with the frozen shoulder and to bring the gospel and effective treatment for them.Methods① Onset survey conducted to frozen shoulder questionnaire through outpatients 3700 and objective understanding of the characteristics of Hong Kong frozen epidemiology. According to the Hong Kong Department of Health 2012 statistics report, by the use of Excel 2010 data entry and graphics, establish a database to SPSS 19.0 statistical software for statistical analysis to statistical methods. The data were analyzed survey data.② The case study from September 2013 to September 2014,96 patients were collected from clinics in Hong Kong Beijing Tong Ren Tang, according to a single-blind randomized table into three kinds of Chinese medicine Chinese medicine treatment (massage, acupuncture and three groups of Chinese medicine), According to TCM diagnostic criteria make frozen shoulder in the State Administration of TCM of the "Chinese disease treatment standard" relevant "shoulder paralysis" of diagnostic criteria, andWestern diagnostic criterion-referenced frozen Second National Symposium (1991 Hubei) diagnostic criteria, clinical cases were observed massage, acupuncture and Chinese medicine for frozen validity, Hong Kong provides a method for treatment of frozen shoulder.According to shoulder pain and functional assessment of the shoulder joint activities, according to the classification of symptoms quantization table American Michael Reese Medical Center, clinical cases were observed, with statistical data about data entry using Excel 2010 to do the analysis, the establishment of a database to SPSS 19.0 statistical software, chi-square test (Pearson chi-square, likelihood ratio, and the linear combination) ANOVA statistical system for data analysis to comprehensive statistical methods for data.Results① 3700 people use the questionnaire, a response rate of 85%, and 3145 people completed the survey; survey completed 3145 people results. Incidence to a graph, said 50 the peak value indicating onset frozen from 30 years. ② this time to collect valid cases 93 cases,31 cases of massage group,30 cases of acupuncture group,32 cases of Chinese medicine. Clinical observation of 93 cases completed, massage therapy group, the total effective rate was 86.7%, the total effective rate of acupuncture treatment 83.3%, traditional Chinese medicine (oral large active pill), the total effective rate was 62.5%(P<0.05).Three groups of age, gender, age, pre-treatment of shoulder pain and shoulder function integral distribution is integral course, statistical analysis, the chi-square test, ANOVA test was significant (P> 0.05), no significant difference. So that three groups of age, gender, age, pre-treatment of shoulder pain and shoulder function integral are duration comparable. Three groups of patients after treatment, shoulder pain and shoulder function integral distribution compared by ANOVA statistical test was significant (P<0.05), there was significant; multivariate test, Pillai, Wilkes’s Lambda, Hotelling, Roy, a significant (P<0.05), there are statistically significant.By t test, (P<0.05), the total effective treatment group 1 and a control group, the difference was statistically significant, the treatment group (massage therapy) than the control group (oral large active pill); t-test, (P<0.05), the treatment group and the control group 2 total effective, the difference was statistically significant, treatment group 2 (acupuncture) than the control group (oral large active pill)By t test, the control group (oral large active pill) compared with a treatment duration of 2 groups of patients distributed by statistical analysis, Sig.0.593, (P> 0.05), no significant difference.Group 1 and the group 2 to treating the total efficiency comparison between the treatment compared with the 2 groups, the statistical analysis, Sig.0.593, no significant difference (P> 0.05), no significant differences, indicating that the treatment group 1 and a treatment group 2 efficacy fairly The result shows that acupuncture and massage to treating significant.Conclusionmassage, acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine treatment of frozen shoulder, can shortened course of treatmentin the clinical efficacy. Comparing the efficacy of three Chinese medicines can reduce the shoulder inflammation in patients with shoulder pain and shoulder range of activities. The quality of life of these patients with frozen shoulder can improve. Massage, acupuncture and Chinese medicine in hospitals at all levels to promote Hong Kong. This study confirmed that massage, acupuncture treat frozen shoulder is a significant effect, can effectively loosen adhesions, relieve pain, improve the patient’s clinical symptoms and signs and quality of life. The cure rate is fast and effective, also reduce patient pain and the economic advantages of convenient. It is worthy of clinical application.Looking to the future of Chinese medicine in Hong Kong, although with the development of modern technology, traditional Chinese medicine is very effective, especially in the treatment of frozen shoulder, using massage, acupuncture is still very effective, while the Chinese would have to have a certain disease good results and a good reputation, in order to attract patients come to Chinese medicine hospital for treatment. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine massage therapy; it can play a unique role in the treatment of many diseases. Therefore, these areas should be carried out specialized research finish, making more evidence-based medicine for the public to know.
