Thirdly, research and analysis on the content of the expression of public opinion must be focused on the social root of such public opinion.Internet rumors indeed have played an important role in expressing public opinion in objective way. However, there is clearly uncertainty of internet rumors due to that it is a private communication channel. Theoretically, public opinion can’t be expressed on information that is false, otherwise, it is a violation and slanting of public opinion. If you allow the public opinion to be built shakily, it is equal to allow "subjective justice" and is to abandon the objective facts. Despite of the fact internet rumors can’t be equal to false information, it is not true after all. As a result, it will distort the public opinion on internet rumors to some extent.If public opinion is distorted, it will lead to more serious consequences. For example, government may make some wrong decisions; social order may be destructed; and judicial justice is affected and so on.
