Test group was according to the course of disease and can bedivided into acute period, resting period andrecovery period. Each period have different treatments, such as acute period use shallow needling, resting period get a Electric acupuncture, recovery period with penetration needling, control group just be given routine needling with electric. One time a day and after 10 times in arow there is a break of two days, and have to continuously for 2 courses. After 2courses we use the House-Brackmann Facial nervegrading standard (abbreviated H-B standard)and Facial Disability Index Scale to evaluate thecurative effect.Results1. There were no statistically significant discrepancy in the general information of the patients, such as the gender, age, course of disease and disease location (P> 0.05), revealing the comparability of the two groups. Besides, no statistically significant differences still showed in the pre-therapy evaluation parameters of the patients, includingthe House-Brackmann Facial nervegrading standard (abbreviated H-B standard)and Facial Disability Index Scale (P>0.05), which displayed the two groups were comparable.2.The comparison of the overall effectiveness:the total effective rate was 96.67% in test group and 90.00% in control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).3. House-Brackmann facial nerve grading systemsand FDI score:After two course of treatment, compare the comparisons of the two groups, the scores of H-B grade and FDI score were bothdeclined in two groups, and there were differences than before(P>0.05); After two course of treatment, the both two scores comparison of two groups of the differences were very significant than begin with(P<0.01); suggests that the treatment group and control group have curative effect. After two course of treatment, compare two group’s scores, there was significant difference between the two groups (p<0.05). The curative effect of treatment group is better than that of control group.4. House-Brackmann scale (Regional Score):After two course of treatment, compare the comparisons of the two groups, the scores of H-B grade Regional Score include 10 side were all declined in two groups, and there were differences between two grope.Suggest that both two group are curative effective, and the treatment group are better than the control group.ConclusionStaging acupuncture and regular acupuncture are both Effective therapy for Bell’s facial paralysis.
