Research On Key Technology Of Ontology Based Knowledge Management System

In the age of knowledge economy, knowledge management has become an important means in enhancing the competition power of an organization.A knowledge management system(KMS) must support the accumulation, storing, spreading, intercommunion, sharing, and constantly evolution of the organizational knowledge, so as to support the knowledge innovation activities of the organization's knowledge workers all-aroundly.KMS has many characteristics different from the traditional AI system and MIS, therefore need a systematically study from a new point of view.The key techniques for KMS are studied in this paper, witch involving the architecture of KMS, Ontology based modeling of Knowledge Base, user model and the techniques for active service of knowledge and the securable access models of knowledge.The main contributions of the research are as below:1. Based on analyzing the characteristics of KMS and the developing trend of modern software architecture, a evolvable and service-oriented KMS architecture (ESOKMA) is proposed, which can support the evolution of KMS, distributed mass KB, knowledge sharing, knowledge services and the integration of different systems.2. An Ontology based knowledge base model for nonstructural knowledge is presented, which can support the accumulation of knowledge and the retrieving of nonstructural knowledge implemented with multi-mode.3. From the epistemological point of view, a new ideas of case knowledge management mechanism called CBR~2 is proposed .which should support both the content-oriented case knowledge retrieval and the case based reasoning, further more, an Ontology based model of case knowledge base is presented.4. An Ontology based user model is proposed through analyzing the characteristics of the current user model, which gives a solution for the problems of the current user model.5. Based on the the results of analyzing the characteristics of the access control model UCON and the security requirement of the KMS ,An Ontology based accessing control model OUCON is proposed.The main results of the research have been applied in realistic systems respectively, which have been proved feasible for practical.
