Study On Conceptual Design Knowledge Management Based On Case And Rule

With the development of the rising of knowledge economy, a new management mode---knowledge management appears and attracts people's attention. The aim of knowledge management is innovation,and knowledge sharing and reuse is the important precondition and guarantee of innovation. As the bearing and spreading field of new knowledge and technology, the knowledge management of conceptual design and development domain has important theory value and realistic significance. This dissertation focuses on the knowledge retrieval, reuse and innovation of product conceptual design. A knowledge management framework of conceptual design is constructed, and many crucial technologies such as the retrieval of conceptual design knowledge, the model, query and dynamic management of knowledge base, the knowledge retrieval based on scenario ,knowledge reuse and knowledge innovation are researched systematically.1. Knowledge retrieval in conceptual design. There are two methods in knowledge retrieval for designer. This paper proposes a method for retrieving design knowledge from organization extend. This method for knowledge retrieval is based on knowledge scenario. First, scenario tree is used to depict knowledge scenario. Then, fuzzy set and rough set is used to show the feasibility of knowledge retrieving. And the weight of scenario item is made by user who is helped by designer. Three, evaluating matrix is proposed and using it to computing the feasibility of knowledge retrieval out organization. An example is offered to validate the availability of this solution in KA form organization.2. Expression and storing for conceptual design knowledge. The method based on XML and ontology is used to express conceptual design knowledge. Conceptual design domain is built on the basis of ontology system. XML technology is used to propose the view of relationship database, and the users can define their own XML view using XQuery on the original view to get higher level abstract. With the changes of knowledge and circumstances, the knowledge base is updated. In this way, knowledge retrieval and knowledge sharing become very easy.3. Knowledge management in conceptual design process. This part studies on knowledge retrieval technology in product conceptual design. Two-layer retrieval technology is proposed. One is to get the similarities of function units through matching function attribute values which is weighted. The concepts of similarity vector are proposed for searching similar function units or module. Another, extended-rule and restriction matrix is proposed to depict the restrictions and constraints of problem-case and historic-cases. The similarity of restrictions between problem-case and historic-case is accounted by restriction matrix. A conceptual design knowledge retrieval process is constructed to retrieve the design knowledge of the similar historic-case to problem-case. The process comprises of requirement analysis, function decomposing, retrieving module of relation design knowledge and knowledge support module.4. Aiming at the common problem of the present knowledge management model framework, a system of product conceptual design knowledge management is established. The structure framework and function modules are introduced specifically in this system framework. According to the distinguishing feature of concept design field, a mold assistant system of concept design is actualized primarily to assist designers'concept design.
