Design And Implementation Of Object-Oriented Intelligent Case Pattern Knowledge Base In IHSMTS

With the growth of Internet and international communication, machine translation(MT) has become one of the key technologies closely related to daily life. Because of the complexity of natural language, MT has been regarded as one of the most difficult problems in computer research field. Interactive Hybrid Strategies Machine Translation System (IHSMTS) synthesizes the advantage of rule-based reasoning and case-based reasoning, overcomes the demerits of single strategy, therefore achieves better performance.The main research purpose of this paper is to design and implement the Case Pattern Knowledge Base in IHSMTS. According to the data stream format of IHSMTS, the Object-Oriented Intelligent Knowledge Base System is designed. The knowledge representation of hybrid strategies machine translation system, the object-oriented organization of knowledge, the intelligent knowledge retrieval and acquisition, the knowledge discovery of cases, are all helpful to improve the performance of the machine translation system. The originality of this paper is below:The knowledge representation of hybrid machine translation system integrates the knowledge modality of RBMT, EBMT and SBMT. Combining multi-level features in SC grammar with translation cases, the knowledge representation is consistency and refined. The statistical creditability model has enhanced the robustness of reasoning and the ability of disambiguation, which provides the mechanism of correction in fuzzy knowledge for machine translation.
