In the digital age, newspaper industry has encountered multiple pressures from the internal and the external. In order to achieve better effect, the newspaper industry is asked to change management ways. The thesis aims at improving the productivity of the content production from the angle of intellectual capital management.Newspaper management was a fashion in 1997. At present, intellectual capital management in the press group has not attracted much attention. In traditional newspaper content production system, it is based on the single production pattern, and the direct consequence is the single payoff pattern and the ability of resisting the market risk is inefficient. We must reconsider the present content production system of newspaper industry.From the angle of knowledge capital management, this thesis analyzes the reasons why knowledge capital management theory is applied to newspaper operation. From the perspective of economics and management, the thesis proves that human capital of newspaper industry is the most important production capital. Human capital and intellectual capital have been regard as a part of newspaper knowledge capital system. Based on the analysis of how human capital being released, the thesis puts forward the training model of the-whole-media-knower.The thesis tries to explain that the traditional newspaper should return to the elite newspaper. On the other hand, newspaper industry must be digitalized and reconstruct the organization to achieve better effects. From the angle of structure optimizing, the thesis explains several ways of matching new forms of organization with procedure reconstruction.At the same time, the thesis puts forward the idea that the essence property of newspaper industry is knowledge product against the background of copyright industry, which lays a theoretical foundation for value increasing of newspaper industry acquiring knowledge.
