The Study On Rules Of Syndrome Differentiation And Making Up A Prescription In Treatment Of Epidemic Febrile Disease By Yetianshi

This article is written to discuss the rules of syndrome differentiation and making up a prescription in treatment of epidemic febrile disease by YeTianShi,and propose a general method to clinical practice.The objective of the research is:to sum up treatment methods of five kinds of epidemic febrile diseases by YeTianShi and analyse the components of those formulas;sum up tentatively the rules of making up a prescription in treatment of epidemic febrile disease by YeTianShi through counting the using frequency of herbs;and analyse the train of thought in treating epidemic febrile disease by YeTianShi.Based on "A guide to Clinical Practice "and "YeTignShi Yi Xue Quan Shu",214 cases(30 cases of wind-warm,57 cases of warm-heat,70 cases of summer-heat,41 cases of damp-warm,16 cases of warm-dryness) of five kinds of epidemic febrile diseases treated by YeTianShi were picked to classify the symptoms based on theory of Wei Qi Ying and Xue, and 87 kinds of treatment methods were summed up.Bases on the pathogenesis and main syndrome of each case,the components,using method and functions were analysed.Meanwhile,tentative statistics of using frequency of herbs in these 214 cases had been carried on,through researching the functions and using method of 15 kinds of high-frequent used herbs,63 groups of co-operative herbs had been summed up.The difference of treatment methods for five kinds of epidemic febrile diseases had been revealed based on the using frequency of herbs.We summed up the co-operation rules of 63 groups of herbs in treating epidemic febrile disease by YeTianShi based on "11 methods of Ye's in treating wind-warm","19 methods of Ye's in treating damp-warm","22 methods of Ye's in treating summer-heat","11 methods of Ye's in treating warm-dryness","22 methods of Ye's in treating warm-heat",they are valuable in clinical practice.YeTianShi thinks that there are not only difference but also connections of syndrome differentiation and treatment among wind-warm,damp-warm,summer-heat,warm-dryness and warm-heat,all of them can be differentiated by Wei Qi Ying and Xue,Sanjiao and Zangfu theory.He pays attention to syndrome differentiation based on constitution,and uses treatment in accordance with individual physique,which reflects the flexibility of syndrome differentiation and treatment of Chinese Medicine.
