The relationship between the organization and the environment are interactive, cooperative,competitive and coevolution. Through the sustained innovation and change, the organization canadapt the dynamic environments and maintain organizational development. Therefore, thisdissertation will focus on the research on organizational innovation and change based on theorganizational development.As we know, the complexity science is especially suitable for the study on organizationsagainst the rapid change of the external environments, and System Dynamics (SD) is capacity ofstudying and indicating the complexity, nonlinearity and feedback of hoop framework of the realworld. We will apply the SD methods implemented in the VENSIM environment to make up theOIC system composed of the basic organization components, internal and external environmentfactors.By simulating the SD model of OIC system in the VENSIM environment, this dissertation hasobtained the following results:(1) the pressures from environmental factors to the goal oforganizational development are the triggering mechanisms of OIC activities;(2) the stock oforganizational resource is the material basis and assurance for OIC activities;(3) the learningability of organization can strengthen the performance of OIC;(4) the change of environments isthe interferential factor of OIC;(5) the unplanned OIC will affect the organization;(6) OICsystem is a complex system with open, non-linear, emergent properties, fluctuated andnon-equilibrium characters.The complex organizational managers can use the SD model of OIC system which constructedin this dissertation to analyze and evaluate the environmental influence on the organization, andthe OIC under the environmental influence, which will be a good reference to the organizationalmanagers who need to make the OIC policy.
