It is well known that technology innovation as a source of competitive advantage, plays a huge role in this environment. Therefore, enterprises how to improve the innovation performance has become an important research problem. The existing literature mainly studies the relationship between the stock of knowledge and innovation performance, think through knowledge transfer to expand knowledge stock is an important approach to improve the performance. However, according to Schumpeter and some scholars’ studies in recent years, the change of knowledge structure is not only beneficial to improve the innovation performance, and may lead to more profound strategic implications. Thus, it can be seen, the knowledge structure and its change also influence the innovation performance of enterprises. The existing literature on the relationship between the structure of knowledge and innovation performance research, made a number of valuable achievements, but most without considering the external environment factors impact on this relationship. Involving knowledge structure changes in literature, most of the knowledge structure change as an important strategy for enterprises to passively adapt to the dynamic environment, rarely considered it as enterprise initiative to maintain sustainable competitive advantage in a complex environment. Therefore, this paper studies type what kind of knowledge structure under the complex and dynamic environment can gain higher innovation performance, and the knowledge structure of underperforming whether through structural changes to improve innovation performance, has important theoretical significance and practical value. the main work and innovation achievements of the thesis can be divided into two parts before and after the association.The first part of this paper, under the guidance of the complex adaptive system theory, through the NK model drawing different environment corresponding to the fitness landscape, and a detailed analysis of the characteristics of the search activities of different knowledge structure, through computer simulation to observe the effect of different knowledge structures in the different fitness walk the fitness landscape. obtain the best knowledge structure of the different environment.The main conclusions are as follows:(1) Knowledge structure has little impact on innovation performance in stable and simple environments, that to say,three knowledge structure can obtain a similar innovation performance.(2) When the environment becomes turbulent, this situation has not fundamentally change, only relative, module structure is more short-term advantage.(3)In the complex and stable environment, the nearly decomposition structure is slightly higher than the integrated structure of the innovation performance, and were significantly higher than that of module structure innovation performance.(4) The integrated structure and the nearly decomposition structure can well adapt to the complex and dynamic environment, relatively speaking, the integrated structure to gain higher innovation performance.The second part, through the way of knowledge transfer, in particular through the transfer coupling relationship of knowledge, this paper studies the without increasing the stock of enterprise knowledge, only change the existing knowledge structure’s influence on the enterprise innovation performance. Simulation results show that:(1) In the complex and stable environment, the enterprise adopts integrated knowledge structure first, then change to the module structure formed or the nearly decomposition structure by the integration of structure type would not improve innovation performance, but leads to the steep decline of innovation performance.(2) The knowledge structure of first using module and later getting integrated or the nearly decomposition structure can effectively improve the innovation performance.(3) In the complex and dynamic environment, the module structure switches to the integrated structure or the nearly decomposition structure,yield a subsequent performance improvements. The conclusions provide valuable guidance and reference of both the decision-making and formulation of modified scheme.
