In the context of increasingly fierce competition in the market,the management of the whole process of logistics and transportation can effectively reduce the cost of enterprises.If logistics enterprises want to form core competitiveness in the industry competition,they need to fully understand their own performance level,so as to develop improvement strategies in line with their own business characteristics.The main objective of this study is to evaluate the logistics performance of third party logistics company A.Through the results of the logistics performance evaluation,the current shortcomings of company A are identified and countermeasures to improve the logistics performance are identified.A comprehensive performance evaluation of a third party logistics enterprise is of great significance for its future development and improvement.This paper firstly composes and summarises the research literature related to logistics performance evaluation,and on this basis constructs a set of logistics enterprise performance evaluation index system with seventeen secondary indicators from four dimensions: financial indicators,service quality indicators,internal business indicators and enterprise competitiveness;secondly,uses the hierarchical analysis method to obtain the weights of each indicator,and combines the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to construct an enterprise logistics Finally,a quadratic model was introduced to analyse the evaluation results of Company A’s logistics performance and to identify the indicators with high importance but low evaluation scores.The results of the study showed that five indicators of Company A’s logistics performance,namely average transportation cost,average inventory management cost,warehouse utilisation rate,utilisation rate of transport vehicles and information technology facilities investment ratio,fell into the repair area.
