Based on the background of high-quality development in the new stage,this paper studies the situation of regional high-quality development in Guangxi and provides suggestions about high-quality development in Guangxi.Guangxi has unique natural endowment and geographical advantages,so this paper starts from the connotation and theory of high-quality development,and takes Guangxi as the research object to calculate the high-quality development,which has special theoretical and practical importance.This paper combines the theories related to high-quality development and the location characteristics of Guangxi,uses the questionnaire survey to select the dimensions and indicators of the evaluation system,and constructs the evaluation index system of Guangxi regional high-quality development.Then this paper applies the entropy weight-TOPSIS method and obstacle degree model to measure the high quality development level of Guangxi region and analyze the hindering factors that affect the high quality development of Guangxi region.At the same time,the suggestions to promote the high-quality development of Guangxi region in the future are given.The results show that from 2009 to 2020,the score of Guangxi’s regional highquality development evaluation shows an increasing trend,the relative difference and the absolute difference show a decreasing trend,so the overall appearance shows a decreasing trend.From the perspective of dimension level,openness development dimension and green ecological dimension make the greatest contribution to the highquality development of Guangxi region.In the view of different regions,the highquality development of the areas covered by "Beibu Gulf City Cluster" is generally better than that of the areas covered by "Zhujiang River-Xijiang River Economic Belt",but the difference between them is narrowing year by year.From the perspective of influencing factors of obstacles,three different dimensions that have the most important influence on the high-quality development of Guangxi region are innovation ability dimension,coordination level dimension and sharing degree dimension.There are 13 evaluation indicators that have the most obvious influence effect,which can be divided into three categories: economic efficiency group,social development group and open sharing group.This indicates that although Guangxi has better policy support,advantageous location characteristics and unique natural resource endowment,regional high-quality development is a comprehensive threedimensional concept,and it still needs to pay attention to the construction and development at the level of innovation,coordination and sharing.The results show that the situation of high-quality development of Guangxi region shows a rising trend.At the same time,under the support of two national regional economic strategic plans,the development of the overall economic environment gradually improved,the ecological environment protection within the region achieved a certain effect,and the degree of high-quality difference between different regions within the region became smaller year by year.The construction and development at the level of innovation,coordination and sharing need to be improved.It is necessary to deepen the efficiency of economic development,accomplish the optimal allocation of resources and reduce the degree of alienation between different regions in the future.Therefore,for the reason to promote the high-quality development of Guangxi,four suggestions are suggested in this paper: promoting the integrated development level of urban and rural areas,optimizing the industrial structure,building a shared governance pattern and promoting the development of innovative economy from a global perspective.
