| Earthen fort in Fujian is a kind of traditional residential building with defensive features hidden in the deep mountains of central Fujian.Due to the lack of effective protection and scientific utilization for a long time,the ancient earthen fort buildings and the cultural information it carries are gradually disappearing.In recent years,while the development of rural revitalization and the integration of culture and tourism,earthen forts in central Fujian is facing the unprecedented opportunity,if we can get the attention of the government and the whole society to participate,through tourism development using the heritage activation,will be able to protect local culture,and achieve the objective of the country revitalization at the same time.This study selected the theory of sense of place,which has important guidance and reference significance for tourism development,took Anzhen Fort as the case,which has the highest degree of protection and the best development in all the earthen forts,carried out the survey of tourists’ sense of place on the basis of a comprehensive survey of tourism resource endowment and development of scenic spots.Finally,some countermeasures and suggestions are put forward on how to create tourists’ sense of place,improve scenic heritage protection,tourism development and management.Firstly,this thesis reviews the domestic and foreign research results on the sense of place,and determines the theoretical basis and research direction of this research.Through extensive reading and collation of documents related to Fujian earth forts,on the basis of field research,observation and in-depth interviews,a comprehensive evaluation of the occurrence and characteristics of Anzhen Fort resources was made,and its historical,artistic,scientific,educational and economic values were summarized.Combined with the data and interview survey results,the tourism development of Anzhen Fort is analyzed.The questionnaire for tourists’ sense of place in Anzhen Fort was designed by referring to relatively mature research results and related scales of tourists’ sense of place,and the results were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively,to find the overall characteristics and differences of tourists’ sense of place in Anzhen Fort.Finally,based on the results of the survey and analysis,the optimization and promotion countermeasures for strengthening tourists’ sense of place were proposed,including strengthen the propaganda of local characteristics,strengthen tourists’ dependence on place,enhance tourists’ local identity,strengthen tourists’ attachment to place and so on.This thesis puts forward a scenic spot optimization model based on the sense of place theory which can be applied to the small scale scenic spots such as the earthen forts in central Fujian,and provides a reference for the tourism development of other ancient residential buildings. |
