| The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that China has entered a new era and a new historical starting point.China’s economy has transitioned from a "high-speed development" model to a "high-quality development" model.In 2022,the report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that high-quality development is the primary task of comprehensively building a socialist modernized country.The issue of high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin has received increasing attention.Henan Province is located in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River Basin and is an important province in the Yellow River Basin.Analyzing and evaluating the high-quality development level of the economy in Henan Province is conducive to promoting the implementation of the major strategy of ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin.Promoting high-quality economic development in the Yellow River Basin is an important link in promoting the formation of a new pattern in the Western Development and creating a new situation for the rise of the central region.The quality of economic development in Henan Province directly affects the overall quality of economic development in China.Therefore,it is necessary to study the high-quality economic situation in Henan Province.Based on innovation driven theory,coordinated Development theory theory,sustainable Development theory theory and other theories,with the help of entropy method,cluster analysis and other research methods,this paper studies and analyzes the following main contents: First,analyze the current situation of high-quality economic development in Henan Province,on this basis,evaluate the high-quality economic development in Henan Province,and propose high-quality economic development countermeasures in Henan Province according to the evaluation and analysis results.The main conclusions drawn from the study are as follows:(1)From 2011 to 2021,the comprehensive score of high-quality economic development in Henan Province showed an overall upward trend,and the level of high-quality economic development continued to improve.(2)There is a large gap in high-quality economic development among cities at various levels in Henan Province.Zhengzhou City and Luoyang City are among the top two,while the comprehensive scores of high-quality economic development of other Prefecture-level city are not stable.(3)Open development and innovative development are the most important factors hindering the high-quality economic development of cities in Henan Province.(4)According to the level of high-quality economic development in Henan Province and the results of correlation cluster analysis,17 Prefecture-level city in Henan Province can be divided into four types:high-quality,high quality,medium quality and low quality.Zhengzhou is a high-quality city;Luoyang is a high-quality city;Medium quality cities include Mesa,Xinxiang,Jiaozuo,Kaifeng,Xuchang,Nanyang and Hebi;Lower quality cities include 8 cities including Luohe and Sanmenxia.The level of high-quality economic development varies greatly among cities,and the overall level of high-quality development in the province is at a relatively low level.Henan Province is an important province in the Yellow River Basin.Studying its high-quality economic development is beneficial for promoting the implementation of the major strategy of high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin,and for a more comprehensive understanding of the current situation of high-quality economic development in Henan Province.Based on the research results,provide scientific basis for relevant departments of the Henan Provincial Government to formulate policies for high-quality economic development in Henan Province,and also provide guidance for Henan Province to formulate and adjust strategies for high-quality economic development.In addition,this study can also provide reference for high-quality economic development in regions with the same or similar background as Henan Province. |
