| In the context of moving towards carbon neutrality and the high-quality construction of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor,it is of great practical significance to study how the logistics industry agglomeration develops in the New International LandSea Trade Corridor, whether there is a spatial effect between logistics industry agglomeration and logistics carbon emissions, and what important factors influence carbon emission reduction in the construction process, which is conducive to promoting the high-quality development of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. On the basis of reviewing and sorting out relevant literature, this thesis analyses the spatial and temporal changes of logistics industry agglomeration level and carbon emission of logistics industry in each city of the Western Land and Sea New Corridor, and establishes a model based on spatial econometrics to verify the spatial effect of carbon emission of logistics, and establishes LMDI model, considering four important factors of economy, population, energy structure and energy consumption, and comes to the conclusion that carbon emission of logistics industry in each city of the Western Land and Sea New Corridor The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The concentration level of the logistics industry in the main corridor cities of the Western Land and Sea New Corridor and the core coverage area is relatively high, with Urumqi,Fangchenggang,Xining,Haikou,Chongqing and Chengdu as the areas with higher concentration levels in the main corridor cities, which currently show an uneven development of the logistics industry. In the process of building the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, not only the main corridor cities should be the main focus, but also the cities in the radiation zone of the corridor,so as to bring low-level agglomeration with high-level agglomeration and achieve reasonable overall agglomeration.(2)The spatial and temporal analysis of carbon emissions from the logistics industry shows that the level of carbon emissions from the logistics industry in the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor has shown a fluctuating increase over time in the past ten years, and in terms of spatial distribution, the level of carbon emissions from the logistics industry is relatively high in the main corridor cities and the core coverage area of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.(3)The agglomeration of logistics industry in the cities of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor has a negative correlation with the carbon emissions of the logistics industry, resulting in a significant carbon emission reduction effect.By establishing a spatial measurement model, the spatial spillover characteristics of carbon emissions from the logistics industry were verified. The decomposition of the effect shows that the local carbon emissions of the logistics industry are influenced by the agglomeration of the logistics industry in the neighbouring cities. The level of logistics transportation and industrial structure have significant effects on the level of carbon emissions from logistics in both local and neighbouring places.(4)From the perspective of influencing factors, economic development largely contributes to the increase of carbon emissions in the logistics industry;the positive influence of demographic factors on the increase of carbon emissions in the logistics industry should not be ignored, and how to reasonably use the great economic development to drive green development while building economic and population growth becomes an issue of concern. The energy structure effect and energy consumption effect play a major role in the path of carbon emission reduction,so the rational use and development of energy, the improvement of energy use efficiency and the innovation of energy technology are the main ways of carbon emission reduction.Based on the above conclusions,we put forward several suggestions to develop the logistics industry of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor according to local conditions and differentiation;continuously optimise the logistics transport structure and actively promote the low-carbon development of the corridor logistics industry;orderly promote the reasonable agglomeration of the logistics industry and rationalise the regional spatial effect;vigorously promote clean energy and optimise the logistics energy consumption structure;and steadily push forward the win-win situation of carbon emission reduction of the economy, population and logistics industry. |
