With the profound change of international financial situation,the financial market of our country has had a great impact.In order to enhance their core competitiveness,banks put forward higher requirements on the quality of employees,which makes the work burden of employees increasingly heavier.As the main force for the development of the banking industry in the next five years,due to the short working time,long working hours under high pressure,complicated,trivial and repetitive work content,the phenomenon of job burnout appears,which will not only bring negative impact on the bank’s profit,but also bring negative impact on the physical and psychological of the employees of Generation Z.So it is of great value to study the occupational burnout of generation Z employees in Chinese banking industry.This thesis takes the employees of Generation Z of A bank as the research object,adopts the method of questionnaire and survey and interview to study the causes of job burnout of the employees of Generation Z of the bank,and combines the statistical analysis method to draw the following conclusions: Demographically,female,employees with junior college degree or below,tellers and account managers are more prone to job burnout;At the work level,work load and boredom affect job burnout;At the organizational level,development prospects,job communication and organizational justice also affect job burnout.Combining with the actual situation of A bank,the research puts forward corresponding countermeasures to improve the job burnout of Generation Z employees: first,reasonable arrangement of work load;The second is to give more attention to Generation Z and stimulate employees’ sense of achievement;The third is to give Gen Z employees more choices and expand promotion channels;Fourth,build a good corporate interpersonal environment;Finally,optimize salary distribution and construct open and transparent promotion channels.
