| Tourism industry development is closely related to the regional economy,tourism industry plays an active role in regional economic development,and regional economy provides necessary foundation for tourism industry development,therefore,it is crucial to promote the coordination and symbiosis between tourism industry and regional economy.As one of the lines with the highest attention of domestic tourism enthusiasts,Gansu-Qinghai Great Ring Road plays an important role in boosting the regional tourism economy,but it is not clear how the tourism industry coordinates with the economy of this region and what factors regulate it.Based on this,this paper takes the27 cities and counties of Gansu-Qinghai Great Ring Road as the research object,and explores the coupled and coordinated relationship between tourism industry and regional economy and the influencing factors in each region from 2010 to 2021.Firstly,the interaction mechanism is analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively through the development status of the two systems;secondly,a comprehensive evaluation model is applied to measure the comprehensive development level of the two systems in each city and county and a coupling coordination degree model is constructed to calculate the coupling coordination degree of the two systems in each city and county;a gray prediction model is introduced to predict the development trend of the coupling coordination level in each city and county;finally,a barrier degree model is used to analyze the main factors affecting the coordinated development of the two systems.The main research results are as follows:(1)The level of comprehensive development and coupling coordination between tourism industry and regional economy in cities and counties of Gansu-Qinghai Great Ring Road is low.From moderate dissonance rose to mild dissonance stage,from2010-2015 tourism industry development lagging type to 2016-2021 regional economic development lagging type,tourism industry development faster than the regional economy.(2)Temporal changes,the coordination of cities and counties in the Gansu-Qinghai Great Ring Road is fluctuating upward trend,with the same direction but slightly different speed.The cities and counties in 2016 faster growth,a small decline in 2020 after a rapid rebound,the core urban coupling coordination level of the highest optimization speed in 2015-2017 to reach a coordinated state,the southern region of the ring line in 2021 is still in the dysfunctional stage,the future of the two systems coupling coordination level is slow to improve.(3)Spatial changes,the cities and counties of Gansu-Qinghai Great Ring Road show a three-level layout.The core urban area has the highest level of coupling coordination,followed by the transition area,i.e.,the counties around the core urban area,and the peripheral areas,i.e.,the western,southwestern and southern areas of the ring,have the lowest level of coordination,showing an "umbrella" distribution in space,and the development gap between cities and counties in the next 12 years is large and accelerating.(4)The analysis of the barrier model shows that the cities and counties in the Gansu-Qinghai Great Ring Road generally have problems such as insufficient industrial security,weak income effect,insignificant capital effect and unreasonable economic structure.In short,the cities and counties of Gansu-Qinghai Great Ring Road need to improve the tourism industry protection system,optimize the industrial structure,and enhance the social and economic benefits;accelerate the construction of peripheral areas,strengthen the role of the transition area bridge connection,regional linkage to narrow the development gap to improve the level of regional economic development;promote the less developed areas and backward areas of the two systems to enhance the level of coordination,and promote the Gansu-Qinghai Great Ring Road tourism industry and regional economic coordination and symbiosis. |
