Evaluation the influence of tourism industry playing on regional economy scientifically, explication tourism industry's position, function in regional economic development, can provide scientific basis for the exploitation of tourism resources, formulation of tourism policy, and can promote the coordinated development between tourism industry and regional economy. On the other hand, we can't overlook the fact that the development of regional economy also having a role in promoting the development of tourism industry, and the development of regional economy is an important basis to tourism industry. In fact, tourism industry and regional economic development are mutual background, intercoordination and development together. In such a macroscopic background, This paper uses Jiangsu province as the research object, quantitatively studied coordination degree of coupling between Jiangsu tourism industry and regional economy, in order to assist Jiangsu's tourism developing healthy and rapidly.Firstly, summarize the relevant theories of this paper involves, including the tourism industry theory, regional economic theory and the coupling coordination degree theory, and analyze present situation of Jiangsu province's tourism industry and regional economic development separately.Secondly, from four aspects of increasing economic income, increasing foreign exchange income, increasing employment and promoting the development of the relevant industries, analysis the influence of Jiangsu province's tourism industry development on regional economy respectively; On the other hand, from four aspects of the economic development producing tourism demand, providing a good infrastructure conditions for development of tourism industry, providing advanced science and technology and helping to form tourism industry competitive advantage, analysis the influence of Jiangsu province's regional economy development on tourism industry respectively.Finally, use the coupling coordination degree from physics for reference, design easy operated index system of the coupling coordinated development for tourism industry and regional economy of Jiangsu province. Establish the evaluation model of coupling coordinated development for tourism industry and the regional economy. Then evaluate the coupling coordination degree of Jiangsu province's tourism industry and regional economic. And put forward countermeasures and suggestions for coupling coordinated development of Jiangsu province's tourism industry and regional economy.
