Research On Coupling Coordination Degree Between Economic Development And Tourism Industry In Hechi City

Today, the rapid development of tourism industry promotes the local economicdevelopment.In fact,the tourism industry promotes the regional economic development, and thedevelopment of tourism industry also need to be supported by regional economic, they mutuallyinfluence each other. However, how to quantitatively describe the relationship between tourismindustry and regional economic, find out their development law and promote coordinateddevelopment has become an important research topic. Coupling is one kind of phenomenon bytwo systems or the movement interaction and mutual influence, and the coupling coordinationdegree is a quantitative indicators to measure the degree of interaction between each other. Hechicity is a typical Karst area with rich and unique tourism resources, in recent years the rapiddevelopment of its tourism industry brought a great promoting in economic development,and at the same time economic development provides Hechi a better support for its tourismindustry.Based on the coupling of regional economic development and tourism industry ofHechi City as the angle of view,using information entropy and coupling development theory toanalyzed the combination of qualitative and quantitative relationship between the economicdevelopment and tourism industry in Hechi city.Firstly, the paper analyzed the interaction between economic developmentand tourism industry of Hechi City,respectively,from the tourism industry affect regionaleconomic income,employment and foreign exchange this three aspects and the regionaleconomic impact of tourism infrastructure, tourism demand and tourism competitiveness.Then the paper uses the coupling development of theoretical physics to construct theregional economy and tourism industry development system of Hechi City, select the regionaleconomic subsystem and tourism industry subsystem total23indicators composing theevaluation index system, and use the weight for each index entropy method and the applicationof the coupling coordination degree model to calculate the coupling degree of Hechi from2002 to2011is on the rise, and it goes through the2002to2005’s Endangered imbalance,2006to2009’s reluctantly coordination,2010to2011’s primary coordinate these three stages.Fromthe comprehensive score of the two subsystems of regional economic system and the tourismindustry system,their development is getting better and better.From the perspective of regionaleconomic system, the comprehensive score increased from0.29574in2002to0.47823in2011,the tourism industry comprehensive score increased from0.11591in2002to0.37284in2011. Although both increased,the comprehensive score of regional economic system is higherthan the tourism industry at the year,and the scores among them differ by more than0.1, so wecan say that the coupling coordination degree of Hechi city tourism industry is lagged type.By calculating and analyzing the coupling coordination degree of the other13cities ofGuangxi in2011, and compared the data of Hechi City in the same year, it is easy to find thecoupling coordination degree of Hechi city is at the lower level among the14cities.Finally, based on the coupling coordination degree results, the paper put forward the countermeasures and suggestions to promote the coupling coordinated development ofregional economy and tourism industry in Hechi city.
