Coupling Coordination Degree Study On Cultural Industry And Regional Economy

Since the reform and opening up, Chinese economy has got remarkable growth, as well as the cultural economy. Particularly in 2005, under the central policy guidance, the cultural industry has entered a new stage of development. At present, China’s traditional industries lack of sustained economic growth potential, the economic structure is facing a difficult transition, meanwhile the developmen t of cultural industries has been shown to produce enormous economic benefits, enhance the country’s soft power in developed countries. In this context, in order to achieve sustainable economic development of China, we should develop China’s cultural industry, optimize its spatial structure, and utilize resources effectively to guide economic development mode from extensive to intensive to open up new economic growth points.Based on a large number of induction and summary of literature, we use the mechanism theory between cultural industrial and regional economic development to do related empirical research and analysis of Hunan province. First we collect related data of both cultural and economic index, then use coupled model to analyze coordination relations between culture industry and regional economic development, and propose the corresponding policy recommendations.As a result,we find that there exists interaction coupling between cultural industry and regional economic development in Hunan province. From a timing point of view, both cultural industry and regional economic development in Hunan Province showed an overall upward trend from 2004 to 2014, and the coupled type had become intermediate stage from slightly offset stage. All this showed that Hunan cultural industry and regional economy coupling coordination degree has got optimized, the relationship between the two systems are becoming increasingly coordinated. From a space point of view, there exists big difference among the regional economi c development level and cultural industries in Hunan province, as well as the coupling coordination degree. The eastern cities of Hunan Province have higher level of development and coordination of multi-coupling, and the western ones lower, which form the pattern that the level of city coupling coordination degree of cultural industries and regional economy development radiated from high to low as the center of Changsha City from the inside out. All these indicate unreasonable points in Hunan cultural industry layout and its development, which need to be adjusted to optimize the spatial structure, and re-integration of economic and cultural resources in the central and western urban areas is in urgent, in order to adjust the industrial structure, enhance the level of coordination of cultural industries and economic development, open up a new economic growth point.
