In 2020,the COVID-19 began to spread,which had a significant impact on China’s economy.Although multiple industries have resumed production after the country’s active epidemic prevention and control efforts,it is difficult to deny that the impact of the epidemic continues to this day.As an important component of the service industry,the development of the catering industry is closely related to people’s daily lives.While emergencies such as the COVID-19 have had a significant impact on the development of the catering industry,the promulgation of the e-commerce law and the differentiated needs of consumers have also brought corresponding challenges and pressures to catering enterprises.In such an environment,as one of the catering chain enterprises,Haidilao needs to pay more attention to unexpected situations such as the epidemic due to its higher brand awareness.Therefore,making timely strategic adjustments based on its own advantages is crucial for Haidilao to achieve sustainable development.The competitive advantage of an enterprise can be strengthened by appropriate financial strategies,thereby expanding market share,and ultimately achieving long-term development of the enterprise.Only by fully understanding the financial situation of their own enterprises can they formulate a financial strategy that maximizes efficiency,so as to achieve the effective use and scientific allocation of resources.The financial strategy matrix can be used to analyze the value creation of enterprises and analyze whether sustainable development can be achieved,and can be used as an evaluation tool to analyze enterprises.In the catering industry,the application of the financial strategy matrix can clearly observe the value growth and cash usage of the enterprise,thereby making certain suggestions for the future development of the enterprise,and timely adjusting the financial strategy to promote the long-term development of the enterprise.This paper combines value creation theory and sustainable growth theory to calculate the value creation ability and sustainable development ability of Haidilao enterprises.Analyze the financial situation of the enterprise in combination with the internal and external environment,and construct a financial strategy matrix for Haidilao.The matrix is used to analyze the rationality of the current financial strategy of Haidilao enterprises,compare and analyze the problems of Haidilao’s financial strategy in each period through the characteristics of Haidilao’s quadrant in each period,conduct corresponding analysis and put forward suggestions for the optimization of financial strategy.It is expected that by using the financial strategy matrix to analyze the financial strategy of Haidilao enterprises,this will provide a certain theoretical basis for restaurant chain enterprises in the same industry to formulate financial strategies,select and adjust changes,so as to promote the sustainable development of restaurant chain enterprises.At the same time,it is also hoped that the literature on case analysis using the financial strategy matrix can be enriched and provided some help for the improvement of the financial strategy theory system.
