In the information age,the emergence of a new economy has had a far-reaching impact on the economic and social development of various countries and the lives of the people.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,China has attached great importance to the development of the digital economy and used the digital economy to continue to make efforts to promote the high-quality development of our country. In recent years,China has gradually formed an economic structure dominated by the service industry,at present,in the gross domestic product, the proportion of added value of the tertiary industry is increasing year by year, and the tertiary industry is crucial to China’s economic development. Therefore, seizing the technological dividends brought by the digital economy and integrating them with the service industry can promote the transformation and upgrading of the service industry, promote economic restructuring, and ensure people’s livelihood and employment, which is of great significance for promoting the high-quality development of the service industry. This thesis first retrieves and studies relevant literature at home and abroad, expounds the connotation of digital economy,high-quality development and service industry development, and analyzes the influence mechanism of digital economy on the high-quality development of service industry based on relevant theories. Then, based on the data of 30 provinces, municipalities(autonomous regions)from 2013 to 2021,multi-dimensional variables were selected to construct an evaluation index system for the high-quality development of the digital economy and service industry, and the entropy method was used to measure the development level of digital economy and the high-quality development level of the service industry, and made multi-angle analysis. Finally,a two-way fixed-effect model is constructed, and the impact of digital economy on the high-quality development of the service industry is examined based on the spatial perspective and industry dimension, respectively. From a spatial point of view, the differences in the impact of digital economy on the high-quality development of the service industry in the eastern, central and western regions of China are studied, and compared with each other. From the industry level, the constructed indicators are refined by industry, three representative industries are selected for analysis, and their influence effects are compared. In this thesis, the following research results are obtained.(1)Whether in the development of the digital economy or the high-quality development of the service industry, there are obvious regional differences in China, and they all show a development model that is superior to the eastern region, followed by the central region and the lowest in the west.(2)Different regions have different development trends in the three aspects of digital economy development, which is reflected in the fact that the eastern region is much higher than the central region and the western region in terms of infrastructure, digital industrialization and industrial digitalization.(3)Different dimensions of the high-quality development of the service industry have different development trends, generally showing development potential, decreasing development scale, increasing development structure, and development efficiency and development sharing first increasing and then decreasing.(4)The development level of digital economy has significantly promoted the high-quality development of the service industry, and the promotion role has significant regional heterogeneity and industry heterogeneity. The analysis of regional heterogeneity shows that the development of digital economy has obvious promotion effect on the high-quality development of the service industry in the eastern region, while the central and western regions are affected by greater control variables.Studies on industry heterogeneity show that the development of digital economy has obvious promotion effects on the circulation sector, production and life service sector, improvement of scientific and cultural level and quality service sector of residents in the service industry. |
