Research On Coupling Coordination Between Digital Economy And Industrial Transformation And Upgrading In Six Central Provinces

In recent years,China’s digital economy has developed a strong momentum,and the overall scale has ranked second in the world for many consecutive years.The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out that adhere to the development of the economy,focus on the real economy,promote new industrialization,and accelerate the construction of a manufacturing power.Under the leadership of the new generation of information technology represented by digital technology,the digital economy has a strong role in promoting industrial transformation and upgrading.Due to the obvious gap and imbalance in the economy of the six central provinces,the need for industry to convert new and old kinetic energy is a more prominent problem.As a major strategic decision of China,the strategy of the rise of central China has brought all-round and deep-seated major opportunities for the development of the six central provinces.With the development of the fourth industrial revolution,the industrial transformation and upgrading in the central region has undergone tremendous transformation,and the digital economy is urgently needed as an important engine to promote the transformation of new and old kinetic energy of industry.Therefore,this thesis conducts research based on the coupling and coordination of digital economy and industrial transformation and upgrading in the six central provinces.Firstly,this thesis elaborates the relevant theories of digital economy and industrial transformation and upgrading,analyzes the development status of digital economy in the six central provinces from the overall scale of digital economy,infrastructure,digital industrialization and industrial digitalization,and then analyzes the current situation of industrial transformation and upgrading in the six central provinces and the problems existing in development from the stage of industrial development and the characteristics of industrial development.Secondly,on the basis of the principle of constructing indicators,the digital economy index system is constructed from the three aspects of digital infrastructure,digital technology driving and digital application,and the industrial transformation and upgrading index system is constructed from six aspects: industrial development,technological innovation,industrial structure,resource conservation,environmental protection and opening up,and the improved entropy method is used to measure and analyze the level of digital economy and industrial transformation and upgrading.Finally,through coupling coordination analysis,the coupling coordination of digital economy and industrial development in the six central provinces from 2011 to 2020 is explored,and the coupling coordination degree is selected as the explanatory variable,government financial intervention,financial development level,economic development level,human capital and innovation ability are used as explanatory variables,and the factors affecting the coupling and coordination degree of the two are further studied by using econometric models.Based on the above research,this thesis concludes that(1)From 2011 to 2020,the comprehensive score of digital economy and industrial transformation and upgrading in the six central provinces showed an overall upward trend,but there were certain gaps between regions.(2)From the perspective of the coupling and coordination degree of digital economy and industrial transformation in the six central provinces,the coupling and coordination degree of the two is growing,and the interaction between the two subsystems is increasing.(3)From the regression results,government financial intervention,financial development level,economic development level,human capital and innovation ability all have a significant positive impact on the coupling and coordination of digital economy and industrial transformation and upgrading,among which government financial intervention shows a stronger impact.Based on the above conclusions,this thesis puts forward three countermeasures and suggestions:promoting the development of the digital economy in multiple dimensions and improving the comprehensive development level;Accelerate industrial restructuring and promote industrial transformation and upgrading;Strengthen the government’s macro-control and promote coordinated development.
