With the progression of digitalization in all aspects of production and life,digital economy has become a new opportunity for global economic growth and an inevitable choice for China’s development nowadays.The 2021 Two Sessions pointed out promoting the integration of digital economy and real economy,and promoting green and low-carbon development.The emerging technologies and innovation capabilities of digital economy can improve the efficiency of environmental supervision and resource utilization,and green development can guide the healthy development of digital economy,which is a development concept that should always be upheld.Meanwhile,adhering to green development is the inevitable requirement to deal with the deterioration of the ecological environment,and it is also the only way to achieve "carbon peak" and "carbon neutrality".Coordinating the relationship between digital economy and green development and finding a suitable development path can promote the coordinated development of the two,thereby promoting the high-quality development of China’s economy.Based on this,this paper measures the coupling coordination level between digital economy and green development in 30 provinces and cities in China from 2014 to 2020 and explores its influencing factors.Firstly,digital economy level and green development level were measured by means of CRITIC comprehensive evaluation method.On this basis,the coupling coordination degree model was used to measure the coupling coordination degree between them.In addition,the spatial and temporal evolution of digital economy level,green development level and their coupling coordination degree in 2014,2017 and 2020 were analyzed,and the global and local Moran’s I indexes were calculated to explore their spatial autocorrelation.Finally,the factors affecting the coupling coordination between digital economy and green development were analyzed under the perspective of time and space by using geographically and temporally weighted regression model.The results show that:(1)From 2014 to 2020,China’s provincial digital economy has been growing steadily and rapidly,and there are significant differences in the development levels between the four regions,showing a development trend of eastern >central > western > northeast;There is generally a positive spatial correlation in China’s digital economy and the correlation is weakening on the whole.The green development level of China’s provinces shows an increasing trend in general,and there are differences in the development level of eastern > central > northeast > western.The green development level of China’s provinces also has a positive spatial correlation,and the correlation is gradually increasing.(2)The coupling coordination degree between digital economy and green development in various regions of China shows a trend of steady growth.Most provinces have been entering the type of coordination improvement in 2020,and the coordination status is getting better and better.Regions with higher or lower coupling coordination level are spatially adjacent,and the number of provinces in high-high aggregation areas and low-low aggregation areas is increasing,reflecting the spatial spillover effect of coupling coordination level.(3)The selected influencing factors are all significant.Among them,education and technological innovation have greater impact on the coupling and coordination level between the digital economy and green development,while the impact of economic development level and government investment level is relatively weak,and shows a slowly weakening trend.The influence of economic structure differences on the coupling and coordination level between the two is also weak,and is always negative from the national perspective. |
