| With the rapid development of the internet,the digital economy has emerged as a product of the information age.As a new driver of economic growth,the digital economy can transform and elevate traditional businesses and become an important engine for building a modern economic system.Technological innovation is the foundation of national strength and the key to economic and social development.In the digital economy era,the importance of technological innovation for high-quality economic and social development is self-evident.The essence of the technological revolution is the formation and development of new technologies,new formats,and new models.As technological innovation gradually becomes the core driving force of China’s economic development,the digital economy as a new driving force for economic development is also expanding.At the same time,their impact on various sectors of society will continue to deepen,bringing many changes to people’s lives and work,injecting strong power into the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Currently,the digital economy and technological innovation have gradually become hot topics in academic research.This article first starts with the relationship between the digital economy and technological innovation,and then constructs an evaluation index system for their development level,and uses the entropy method to comprehensively evaluate 30 provinces and cities in China.Then,by calculating the degree of coupling and coupling coordination,a model is established to analyze the coupling relationship between the two systems.Finally,by using Arc GIS software to visualize the system coupling coordination in 2011,2015,and 2020,the coordinated development of the two systems in three years is analyzed.The research results of this article show that:(1)the overall level of China’s digital economy and technological innovation is on the rise,and the development index of the digital economy is higher than that of technological innovation.(2)From 2011 to 2020,the degree of coupling between the two systems of the digital economy and technological innovation was at a high level,with an overall range of [0.9177,9727],indicating that the degree of mutual influence and correlation between the two systems in Chinese provinces is very high.(3)The coupling coordination degree between China’s digital economy and technological innovation systems has risen from 0.2233 in 2011 to 0.4344 in 2020,gradually moving from a primary level of coordination to a intermediate level of coordination,indicating that the coordination between the two systems is getting better and better.(4)The specific development changes of the coupling coordination degree of each province in 2011,2015,and 2020 were obtained through Arc GIS software.The overall development of the eastern region is higher than that of the central,northeast,and western regions.The provinces in the eastern regions such as Guangdong,Beijing,Jiangsu,and Zhejiang are leading the country in the coupling coordination degree of their systems,while the western regions have lower levels of economic development,and their digital economy and technological innovation development are at a lower level.The coupling coordination degree of provinces such as Gansu,Guangxi,Ningxia,and Xinjiang has only risen from a barely coupled coordination level to a primary coupled coordination level.Based on the above conclusions,this article proposes the following suggestions for the coordinated development of the digital economy and technological innovation:Strengthen the construction of digital infrastructure,promote the development of the digital economy,increase investment in scientific and technological innovation,optimize the environment for scientific and technological innovation,focus on breaking regional barriers,emphasize tailored development,attach importance to talent cultivation,and strengthen supervision and protection. |
