Research On The Impact Of Digital Economy Level On China’s Industrial Structure Upgrading

The benefits of the digital economy must be entirely leveraged,and the industrial configuration should be enhanced,grounded on the background of superior economic progress and the novel advancement model of paired circulation.The digital economy has successfully increased local consumer demand by promoting new products,new formats,new models,and improving economic efficiency.It has also emerged as a major force in the optimization and modernization of the industrial structure.Therefore,it is crucial to look into the theoretical and practical implications of how the digital economy affects the modernization and optimization of the industrial structure.This thesis examines and categorizes the literature and research reports on those subjects,as well as internal digital economy mechanisms for improving and optimizing the industrial structure.A metric system is devised to evaluate the progress of China’s interprovincial digital economy by interpreting the implied meaning behind its development in the digital sphere.The digital economy indicators are measured by province,city,dimension,and region in this measurement index system,which includes four dimensions and 12 indicators of digital infrastructure,digital economy development,digital economy services,and data innovation capabilities.Additionally,based on the upgrading of industrial structure,the rationalization and advanced aspects of industrial structure are evaluated.This thesis investigates the modernization and optimization of the industrial structure supported by the digital economy using empirical analysis.The analysis of shadow intermediaries,threshold effects,and spatial correlation are the main points of this paper,which also introduces the level of financial development as an intermediary variable.(1)The intermediary pathway of positive effects is formed by the degree of financial development,and the industrial structure can undergo significant optimization and upgrading through the digital economy.As the level of financial development improves,the influence of the digital economy on the promotion of industrial structure optimization and upgrading has displayed a weakening trend.(2)The progression of the digital economy and modification of the industrial configuration have demonstrated an optimistic tendency in the past few years.However,the influence of the digital economy on enhancing the industrial structure in a particular geographic location exhibits regional diversity.This diversity is characterized by a reduction in gradient from the eastern to the western regions,which highlights the persisting issue of imbalanced regional development.In order to achieve this,this thesis makes the following policy recommendations:(1)vigorously develop the digital economy industry and raise its level of development;(2)enhance the system for digital technology innovation;(3)promote the modernization and optimization of the industrial structure while accelerating the penetration and integration of the digital economy industries with traditional industries;(4)Improve the governance structure and create an environment that is conducive to the growth of the digital economy sector;(5)Effectively encourage the integrated development of various regions and exert the spatial spillover effect;(6)Coordinate and promote the coordinated development of regional digital industries and optimize spatial layout.
