Research On Spatial Pattern And Influencing Factors Of Digital Economy Development

In recent years,digital economy,as one of the important emerging economic forms in the new era,has become the research focus of various countries and many scholars.The digital economy not only promotes the healthy and sustainable growth of the economy,but also has a positive effect on the production efficiency and income of many traditional industries.According to a series of official documents on the development of the digital economy issued by China,the digital economy has become an important pillar supporting China’s all-round development.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to deeply explore the spatial pattern and influencing factors of China’s digital economy development for its overall realization of high-quality development.Based on spatial effect theory and spatial econometric model,this paper analyzes and studies the spatial pattern and influencing factors of China’s digital economy development.First of all,by summarizing the research results at home and abroad,it analyzes the development of digital economy and the related theories and characteristics of spatial metrology;Secondly,using the provincial panel data from2014 to 2020,the comprehensive evaluation index system of digital economy development is constructed from the four dimensions of digital industrialization,industrial digitalization,digital governance and data value.The balanced weighting method is used to empower the measurement indicators,calculate the digital economy development index and analyze the spatial pattern of China’s digital economy development;Thirdly,according to the existing literature,select the influencing factors that affect the development of the digital economy,and build the traditional regression model and spatial measurement model to analyze the impact mechanism of these influencing factors on the development of the digital economy;Finally,we summarize the empirical results and give corresponding policy recommendations.The results show that the overall development of China’s digital economy shows an upward trend,but the development level is seriously polarized,and the digital gap is prominent;There is spatial correlation in the development of digital economy,and the spatial pattern presents a trend of agglomeration development;The empirical results show that the influencing factors of China’s digital economy development have regional and temporal heterogeneity,and the level of economic development,trade openness,and industrial structure upgrading have positive spatial spillover effects on the development of digital economy in adjacent regions,while the level of urbanization and government functions have negative spatial spillover effects on the development of digital economy in adjacent regions.
