From the 20 th No.1 central document issued in 2023 to guide the work of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" in the 21 st century to the process of promoting rural revitalization, agriculture has received more and more attention. In agricultural production, whether it is increasingly serious agricultural pollution,or the misuse of pesticides and fertilizers,it has led to serious damage to the agricultural ecological environment, and food safety has also been a huge threat,so the control of agricultural pollution,It is urgent for farmers to adopt green agricultural production technologies. However,in the context of factors such as the aging of rural areas and the increasingly serious loss of young and middle-aged labor,it is difficult for farmers to learn and use green agricultural production technologies. As an organization spontaneously established by farmers, cooperatives fill the gaps in formal systems and technology promotion institutions. Therefore, exploring the behavior of farmers adopting green agricultural production technologies from the perspective of cooperatives is of great significance and helps to promote the sustainable development of agricultural production. In view of this, this article, based on relevant literature and field research in Tanghe County,Henan Province, comprehensively grasps the situation of farmers’ adoption of green agricultural production technologies,as well as the impact mechanism of cooperatives on farmers’ adoption of green agricultural production technologies.Using a binary logistic model,it empirically analyzes the impact of farmers’ joining cooperatives and using social services provided by cooperatives on their adoption of green agricultural production technologies,Secondly, the Bootstrap method was used to explore the mediating effect of green agricultural production technology cognition on farmers’ participation in cooperatives and their adoption of technology.Based on the above research, this article mainly draws the following conclusions:First, the impact of farmers joining cooperatives on their adoption of green agricultural production technologies is significant and positively correlated, and the perception of green agricultural production technologies plays a partial intermediary effect in the above process. Moreover, the more farmers use the social services provided by cooperatives, the more farmers are inclined to adopt green agricultural production technologies.Secondly, among other influencing factors, age, education level, number of farmers, whether they are mainly engaged in agricultural industry, whether they have participated in green agricultural production technology training, and cultivated land area have significant effects on farmers’ adoption of green agricultural production technology.Specifically, the younger the farmers are,the greater the likelihood of adopting green agricultural production technology; The higher the education level of farmers, the more inclined they are to adopt green agricultural production technologies; The greater the number of farmers working in households, the greater the likelihood that farmers will adopt green agricultural production technologies;Farmers who are mainly engaged in agricultural industries have a greater probability of adopting green agricultural production technologies;Farmers who have participated in green agricultural production technology training have a higher probability of adopting green agricultural production technology; The smaller the cultivated land area, the greater the probability of adopting green agricultural production technologies.Thirdly, farmers’ awareness of green agricultural production technologies has played a partial intermediary effect in the process of their participation in cooperatives affecting their own adoption of green agricultural production technologies, which means that farmers’ participation in cooperatives can strengthen their awareness of green agricultural production technologies, thereby promoting farmers’ adoption of green agricultural production technologies. Finally, based on the above conclusions, corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed: first, strengthen the relationship between farmers and cooperatives, and enhance the impact of cooperatives on farmers;second, give full play to the role of cooperatives in technology promotion, and establish a sound new technology promotion system;Third, strengthen the standardized construction of cooperatives and improve the service level of cooperatives;Fourth, pay attention to the cultivation of professional talents in cooperatives and strive to create comprehensive technical talents;Fifth, optimize the external macro environment and improve the technical subsidy mechanism for cooperatives and farmers;Sixth, farmers actively participate in technical training to transform their understanding of green agricultural production technology. |
