Research On The Development Of Urban And Rural Integration In Jilin Province Based On The Perspective Of Rural "Population-Land-Industry"

The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed a "rural revitalization" strategy.At the same time,the development concept of "urban and rural integration" was proposed,pointing out that "the establishment and improvement of urban and rural integration development system mechanisms and policy systems." In the new era,urban and rural integration and development are based on the equal development of urban and rural,strengthen the internal connection between urban and rural,focus on solving the problems of imbalanced urban and rural development and inadequate rural development,and activate rural population,land,and industry development momentum.The coordinated development of the "population-landindustry" system helps to promote the integration of urban and rural areas,and finally realize the comprehensive development of urban and rural areas and the common prosperity of people.Exploring the development level and influence mechanism of urban and rural integrated is the basis of correctly understanding urban and rural relations.Most previous studies have focused on urban economy-dominated areas,and the research is mostly starting from the provincial and municipal standards,the leading type of agricultural leadership was ignored.This paper takes Jilin province,an agricultural-dominated region,as the research area and counties as the research unit to construct a multi-dimensional evaluation system for the comprehensive development level of rural population,land and industry,as well as urban-rural integration.The evaluation system of rural "population-land-industry" system and the change of spatial and temporal characteristics of urban-rural integration development in Jilin Province from 2000 to 2020 are measured by using principal component analysis,spatial autocorrelation,coupling model,trend surface analysis,etc.The individual fixed effect model and geographic detector model are used to further explore the influence of rural"population-land-industry" system on urban-rural integration development."The main findings are as follows:(1)From 2000 to 2020,the development index of "population-land-industry" system in rural Jilin Province maintained a low growth trend,in which the population and industrial development in rural areas showed an increasing trend,while the land development level decreased from the beginning of the period,showing a U-shaped change.The coupling degree and coordination degree of the rural "population-land-industry" system basically show a stable growth trend,showing a high level of coupling and a low level of coordinated development.The pattern of "high in the east-west,low in the middle-high in the north and low in the south".(2)From 2000 to 2020,the level of urban and rural integration in Jilin Province has maintained an upward trend,and the upward trend leveled off in the later period,among which,urban-rural social integration,economic integration and spatial integration rose more,while urban-rural population integration and ecological integration rose more steadily.In space,urban-rural integration development has obvious clustering characteristics,and the urban-rural integration index of urban areas is significantly higher than that of counties,but the propagation-driven role of core areas is not significant,and obvious high-high clustering has not been formed around the urban areas with higher integration levels.(3)The development of "population-land-industry" system in rural Jilin Province has a significant role in promoting the development of urban-rural integration,and for every 1% increase in the development index of "population-land-industry" system in rural Jilin Province,the corresponding urban-rural integration index increases by 5%.The results of the study confirm the coordinated development relationship between urban-rural integration and rural revitalization.Further analysis shows that the development of urban-rural integration in Jilin Province is mainly characterized by the influence mechanism of "rural industry leading and multiple synergistic development",and the influence of rural industry has been strengthened during the study period,and the influence of rural population development also occupies a certain dominant position.At the same time,the interaction effect of each factor is significantly higher than the single factor effect,which further indicates that the integrated development of urban and rural areas in Jilin Province requires the coordinated development and joint promotion of the "population-land-industry" system in rural areas.
