| China’s tourism industry is currently in a critical period of progress towards high-quality development.The road to quality tourism development is being tested by the far-reaching effects left by the epidemic,and it is urgent to consider from different perspectives how to promote the recovery of tourism after the epidemic and quickly embark on the road of high-quality development.As an important part of urban development,the level of tourism development is closely related to the level of urban development,and the degree of urban resilience is of great significance to the recovery and development of tourism.Therefore,in the context of promoting the high-quality development of tourism in the Yangtze River Delta city cluster,it is important to study the interaction between high-quality tourism development and urban resilience.Firstly,the paper reviews the literature related to tourism quality development and urban resilience,and clarifies the relevant concepts and theoretical foundations;then the paper follows the principle of index selection,constructs the evaluation index system of tourism quality development and the evaluation index system of urban resilience respectively,uses the entropy value method to assign the indexes and calculate the tourism quality development level index and urban resilience level index of 27 cities in the Yangtze River Delta city cluster from 2007 to 2021 respectively;finally,based on the analysis of the interaction mechanism between the two,the paper studies the coupling and coordinating relationship between the two according to the coupling and coordinating model and uses the PVAR model to focus on the interaction relationship between the two.The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The tourism high-quality development of the Yangtze River Delta city cluster generally maintained a stable growth trend from 2007 to 2019,with a precipitous decline in 2020,and although it recovered in 2021,it was still far below the pre-epidemic level,with a large gap in the level of tourism high-quality development of each city but all significantly affected by the epidemic.(2)The comprehensive measure index of urban resilience of the Yangtze River Delta city cluster was on the rise during 2007-2019,and although there was a small decline in 2020,it recovered to the pre-epidemic level in 2021,while the ranking situation of urban resilience level of each city was relatively stable.(3)The coupling coordination coefficient of tourism quality development and urban resilience in the Yangtze River Delta city cluster from 2007 to 2019 shows a steady rise in general,but the overall coupling coordination level is not high,declining in 2020,and still lower than the pre-epidemic level although there is a slight increase in 2021,and in general,it has experienced the process from being on the verge of disorder to achieving primary coordination and then to be on the verge of disorder,while the coupling of each city Coordinated development level gap is obvious.(4)Tourism quality development to its own promotion role is obvious,but with the passage of time,the promotion role gradually weakened;urban resilience in different periods of time on the impact of tourism quality development role is not the same,with the passage of time,urban resilience to tourism quality development from negative impact to positive impact.Finally,combining the findings of the study and the actual situation of tourism quality development and urban resilience in the Yangtze River Delta cities,we propose countermeasures and suggestions in four aspects: innovation-driven and intelligent development,environment-friendly and green development,win-win cooperation and coordinated development,and positive interaction and simultaneous development,in order to accelerate the recovery and reconstruction of the tourism industry and achieve tourism quality development in the post-epidemic era with the help of urban resilience construction,and to promote the improvement of urban resilience in the process of tourism quality development. |
